This location is to die for, as there is no prettier place to call home than the northern coast of California. After spending perfect days on the beach just steps away, there is plenty to explore nearby. Located immediately south, Russian Gulch State Park offers hiking trails and unmatched scenery that is a must-see. Point Cabrillo Light Station State Historic Park is less than a mile north on Highway 1 as well which is home to the Point Cabrillo Lighthouse Museum and Frolic Cove Beach. The heart of Mendocino, a blufftop village known for its charming art galleries and wonderful restaurants, is just over two miles south, and downtown Fort Bragg awaits nine miles north. Outdoor and fun activities here abound, but the locals' favorites are whale watching, horseback riding, The Skunk Train in Fort Bragg, which offers railroad tours on a historic train leading through meadows and redwood forest, historic walking tours, and annual festivals.
