The cabin was not far from downtown. It is situated in the yard next to the main house and like a mother-in-law home. It was only one room, yet spacious. Furnishings were modern and comfortable. Back patio with fire pit was inviting. Peaceful, quiet country setting with deer, squirrels, birds and butterflies complimenting the "country" feel.
Loved this quaint lil cottage in the Hill Country. It was clean, quiet and beautiful scenery.
The back patio allows great wildlife viewing.
Would suggest having more than just two plastic glasses.
Sense we'd stayed there before, we knew the gate only opens when leaving by the left lane. New people need to be notified.
My wife and I enjoyed the cute cottage, it was comfortable and close to town of Fredericksburg. We also love the 291 shuttle and will be back again!
Didn't realize this is basically an out building located right next to the owners house. However, it was very clean and tidy and comfortable.
It was quite and clean nice little place ...
The house was nice and quiet. Great watching deer in the mornings. Gate opened going in, but not out. Someone had to squeeze through to get to other side to push in keypad numbers. Bathroom was too hot. No air in there. Had kitchen things, but needed a sharper knife to cut food. Sofa bed was loud/squeaky and flat.
When we tried to leave 1st time to go grocery shop and gate didn’t open, I called the number given and had to leave a message. Nobody ever returned my call. Glad we figured out how to get out.
Was a nice place outside of town. We would return, but w a few things from home to help the trip be more comfortable.
We apologize for issues this guest encountered, and we are very sorry nobody appeared to have returned this guest's phone call. The gate works just fine, and we have added some instructions to clarify how to use it. There is a hotel style wall mounted A/C to cool the unit located just outside the bathroom, and if guests leave the bathroom open when not in use, it does help cool it down. Thank you!
Great location and very convenient to Main St of Fredricksburg. House was clean and well set up. Wife and I felt as if we were coming home. Only suggestion is have it cooled off for your renters arrival.
We had a great stay! The cottage is a quick drive from Main Street, but it's far enough away to let you enjoy quiet, peaceful evenings. We will definitely be back!
The surroundings were quiet and peaceful. The cottage was clean and cozy. The bed was comfortable.
We had a wonderful time in Fredericksburg. Triple Creek Cottage was clean, reasonable, and close to town. Also very quiet and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.
We loved the birds, the deer, the turkey gobbles, the views of the meadow.
The cottage was so adorable. Perfect for a couple. Also had a sofa sleeper. Loved waking up and looking out thru the french doors and seeing deer everywhere. Max was a very nice man. Enjoyed talking with him. The scenery was just so surreal. This was truly a relaxing atmosphere. Only 4 miles from histric downtown. We loved everything about our trip.
When we arrived it was around 8:30pm. We passed the cabin up the first time because the number was on the opposite side of entrance. As we entered we really thought the cabin was very nice and clean. The only thing we were really surprised by was the fact that this cabin was not stocked well with drinks and snacks only having 1 bottle water, 2 orange juice, 1 pod of coffee, and some oatmeal with flaxseed. We were expecting to at least have more than 1 coffee and 1 bottle of water.
This guest house was very clean and perfect for my husband and I. Would highly recommend staying here!
This cottage was the perfect place for a weekend get away. It was perfectly clean and very quiet. WiFi is weak but you can deal with that when you’re getting away:)
The property & the small town were both awesome. We had a great time & lots of fun memories
From the picture I was expecting a small house in the middle of nowhere; but found this to be a detached, converted garage in a lovely development, with less than a five minute drive into Fredericksburg. We enjoyed watching deer out the back window -- not more than 50' away. Very quiet and relaxing!
Will return to star again.
Great location close to the heart of Fredericksburg and loved the outdoor hammock/swings, grill and fire pit. It was a fun escape from a big city and a great place to go to relax.
This place is beautiful at night and about a five minute ride to downtown. This is the perfect place if you want a country feel but closeness to the downtown scene.
Liked the cottage. It was perfect t for the 3 of us who stayed. The location was great but we could not get internet service.
Our cottage was very clean and the distance from town made it a peaceful pleasant retreat.
We enjoyed it very much.
If you are looking for a quaint little house in the country with close proximity to Fredericksburg and Enchanted Rock, as well as many other fine sightseeing of the Texas Hill Country you have found your spot for peaceful serenity and a great night's sleep.
Not too tricky to find even at night the location offers a peaceful setting on a small tract of land with about a 10 minute drive to town.
The interior features a super comfortable bed, sofa with pull out (which we did not use), microwave, small refrigerator, kitchen sink, coffee pod machine (hopefully better stocked than during our visit), clean updated bathroom, TV with Dish, dining table, and spacious interior big enough for three people.
Upon exiting the property the car needs to be on the left side of the lane. This was a little confusing upon our first exit since we did not have that instruction.
I believe this home is on a well and requires the gas to possibly take shorter showers to conserve water pressure as well as hot water.
Our only other comment would be that the home is very close to the owners or permanent residence. However we rarely saw them but I did not want my youngest son to disturb them. He is after all full of energy.
Overall we had a wonderful stay really didn't spend that much time in the cottage seeing as how we were in the country and had so much to do.
Quaint, clean cottage in a quiet location very close everything you would want to do. Would definitely stay here again.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Triple Creek Cottage. The dear roam around on the property in the AM and dusk hours which is really cool to see from the windows. The space is big enough for a couple or a small family and very well kept. The linens and towels were clean and nice toiletries provided in the bathroom.
We were disappointed in a few things such as the lack of useable internet and consistantly working cable TV (we wanted to watch the UT/OU game and couldn't). Downtown Fredericksburg is just a short drive away as well. I would come back but with the expectation of being "unplugged".
There was a lot of rain midway into our visit, but made the best of the trip. This cabin is in a really good location because you are close to Fredericksburg but still feel like you're out in the country. It is nicely furnished and comfortable. You will feel just as safe as you do at home. You will definitely enjoy a visit to the hill country if you stay here!
What a great place to stay! It was nice, quite and peaceful. I highly recommend this place and we will be staying there again!
A great little place to stay will enjoying the Texas Wine Country! The house was very clean and bed and sofa sleeper very comfortable. Location was close to Fredericksburg as well as the wineries.
A nice quiet place in the country. Saw deer just out the backdoor. Would stay there again.
Enchanted Rock was the best part of the trip, but be sure to get there early. The WWII Pacific war museum was also worthwhile.
As for for the unit, we purchased a griddle and left it there for future guests. The WiFi connection was the worst part of the stay, as a good connection was intermittent at best and only available in one corner of the unit. I would suggest the owners extend the range of the current WiFi or buy a separate internet line for the unit.
Overall though it was a very nice cottage.
We were very satisfied with our stay. My kid wanted me to purchase the place lol so yes i had no complaints except for us not having internet access. It kept asking us for the password and on the listing it has unprotected. Except for that minor detail i would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a peaceful, relaxing stay.
No internet; no DVD player, no coffee pods, electric gate malfunctions. Even worse was a total lack of response from anyone about these issues, even after repeated phone calls.
We regret to see that your stay was not as smooth as we would have liked and that we were difficult to reach. The owners do not provide a DVD player in this home, but there is cable, and the Property Manager will check on the WiFi. We are currently hiring more agents for the phones so that we are easier to reach in situations like this, and we would love to have another chance to impress you with our services.
The Internet required a password and we were not given a password. Over all it was very relaxing
Triple Creek Cottage is just 3 miles outside of Fredericksburg in a quiet, semi-rural, and picturesque setting. The size of the cottage is perfect for a couple, though it will sleep 4 with the pull-out bed. The furnishings are comfortable and welcoming, and the king-sized bed is very comfortable. The neighbor's dogs are a bit noisy. I would definitely stay here again!
The location was beautiful! There are dogs close to the property so if you don't mind hearing them sometimes it isn't bad! The bed was very comfy and it was very clean!!! We would definitely return! Me n the husband just went for a birthday getaway but our kids would have loved the property as well!!! Also Vacasa was very nice and responsive during the daytime hrs :)
Nice comfortable suite! The neighbors had dogs but they disturb us. A wonderful alternative to a hotel. Very peaceful and country setting! The bed is was the best!
