We enjoyed an amazing stay here over Memorial Day weekend! My family of seven fit very comfortably in this home. It was beautifully decorated, very clean when we arrived, and well stocked with all the essentials we needed (and a lot more than we were expecting!).
While cooking, we found plenty of cooking utensils, bakeware, mixing bowls, cookware, serving dishes, a handmixer, and more. There were even aprons! We were also happy to see a coffee grinder, a standard coffee pot, a tea kettle and a Keurig. There was plenty of seasoning around, some spray oil, ziploc bags, chip clips, etc.
The bedrooms are quite large and the fact that each had their own bathroom was really convenient. The large televisions in each bedroom was impressive. I honestly didn't think we'd use ours but watching a movie in bed felt like a real treat :) My husband and I slept in the master and cannot say enough how incredibly comfortable the bed is! In fact, I pulled up the fitted sheets in an attempt to find out what kind of mattress it is because I need to replace mine at home and loved the comfort of this one. I wasn't able to find the maker of the mattress but did see that it was manufactured in Oct. of 2018 so it's pretty new. The second room with a king bed had the same wonderful mattress.
The hot tub was a great evening treat - we used it every day we were there. My husband enjoyed use of the barbecue grill and the patio furniture was plentiful for all of us to gather and play games while he cooked. Speaking of games, there's a nice variety of games and cards in the hall closet. We brought some of our own but never even pulled them out.
The surround sound in the living room was fantastic. The family gathered on the couch to watch a movie together and were impressed with how comfortable and roomy the space was. There were plenty of throw blankets around too, which I thought was a nice touch.
We used the four bikes and my kids (and husband) had a great time playing the video game machine (oh the nostalgia!) and the foosball table in the garage. There was also a gaming system in the kids' room.
We were able to take advantage of the SHARC passes (yay!) and had a great afternoon at the pool one day.
Overall, the home was lovely. We definitely intend to come back and stay here again. We weren't bothered at all by the close proximity of the store. In fact, it was a convenience to us to be able to walk just beyond the backyard space to pick up something quick. We probably did so three or four times.
There are just a couple items I might recommend for improvement. First, it would be nice to have had some bike locks. A few of us rode bikes to the village one day but we didn't feel comfortable leaving them without being able to lock them up. We ended up buying one to use there and brought it home with us. Second, the shower heads in the bathrooms left a lot to be desired. The home looks and feels updated, but the shower heads (and even bathroom faucets) are very basic stock. I think a nice shower head is a great, and fairly inexpensive, way to add value and make a good experience a great experience. Lastly, it looks like the home decor may have been recently updated but not quite finished. I say this because most of the decor felt very contemporary (which I loved), but the pictures in the master bath were more of a rustic/country feel. Also, I noticed there were still price tags underneath some of the table decor. These few mentions are by no means reason enough to stop us from wanting to stay again, though!
The last thing I'll say is that I really appreciated the opportunity to extend our stay with a late check-out. We paid a modest fee for it but it was well worth it. We were able to spend more time enjoying the home and the area and then packing up without the stress of feeling rushed. Bravo VACASA!
This home was very nicely laid out for two couples or families. The hot tub was terrific. We were there during weather that air conditioning wasn’t really needed. We would book this place again!
We’re pleased the guests enjoyed the home and would consider returning. We have recently installed AC in the home for increased comfort during the summer months. Thank you.
Everything was great, beds comfortable, all rooms with their own private baths was a great amenity. Kitchen was well stocked and hot tub was perfect. Setting very nice and quiet and very clean.
House layout was great for two families visiting Sunriver. Plenty of room, very comfortable.
We like this home's location, on the north end of Sunriver, away from the commotion but steps from a grocery store, gas station, and the Mavericks facility which we found is now open to the public for a fee. There is also a path nearby which we used to walk directly to the SHARC (about a 20 minute walk for us).
We rented 3 homes from Vacasa in Sunriver and were pleased with all of them. Mount Adams 10 was a great gathering place. The patio is large and spacious. The center bathroom is readily accessible for all. There's even a door that goes out to the patio. (there's also a door that goes from the bathroom into the bedroom- making it very handy at bedtime) It is furnished with about anything one would want to prepare meals, etc. GREAT place to stay. 4 Bikes 8 SHARC passes are even included.
The house was everything we wanted it to be, the location was great and we loved the backyard. House was in great shape and had all the amenities that we needed. Thank you for a great experience
It might not be a positive for some guests, but the market is in the back yard of this property. For us it was great. A very short walk for milk was great!! The bike trails were easy to access. The pool passes pay for a large cost of your stay!!! The four bikes provided were a great addition.....although we didn't need them because we brought our own. They are very high quality bikes, that looked in great working order. We didn't use the hot tub, but you will be pleased, it's a nice one.
House was perfect! Nice floor plan. Had everything we needed for a great vacation. Would stay there again!
We wish we could have stayed longer!! Sunriver is great -- easy to get around the property, easy access to shops, restaurants and swimming, plus trails to scenic locations. The property was immaculate and well stocked for our party of 8, and it was close to the grocery and bike trails. We loved the spacious floor plan and having four bikes was fantastic for the teens in our family. We would definitely stay in Sunriver, and this property again!
