Sofa smelled of vomit which maintenance tried to clean up, numerous stains on the 1st floor carpet, clogged toilet, owner cancelled internet after we signed the rental agreement (while the original listing included WiFi ), very drafty 1st floor bedroom ( we slept with hats on, and the window shade moved all night due to the draft), both bathroom radiators were rusted beyond recognition with pee and the bunk beds were very cheap ( not stable/unsafe). . Owner updated the kitchen and painted but the unit has a lot of wear and tear. My first bad experience with Vacasa. The pictures look nice but I would not recommend this unit.

Everything was clean and in order. Hotel sizes of soap, shampoo, dish soap, etc were very helpful! Vacasa was easy to reach when needed and communication was clear and helpful. We will be back!

Perfect location for skiing! Super easy access to slopes!

We enjoyed our stay here. The house is spacious and having the 3rd bedroom with bunk beds is handy. The location is great, and is very close to the sunrise trails and lift. A few minor complaints: the wifi didn't work; two of us got minor pet allergies, so there has likely been a cat or dog in the place.and the consumables left for us were lacking. By consumables I'm talking toilet paper, paper towels and real towels. Back to the good - the fireplace was great and there was plenty of wood in the communal woodshed. A previous reviewer had commented about the carpet - it wasn't new, but it was fine - no complaints.

The views on this place made the smaller setbacks worthwhile. Upon arrival the unit was fairly clean, although the carpets could have used a good cleaning. Otherwise everything was as described in the overview. Had trouble getting onto wifi, but manager was able to help direct us to an alternative site. I did expect to find kitchen dish towels and oven mitts, but only hand towels were provided. Would recommend bringing your own pool towels. All in all we really enjoyed our stay :)

We have stayed in sunrise several times over the last few years. This unit was well placed near the ski trails and while we visited in summer it would have pleased us in the winter for location. We will not visit again however, for many reasons. The unit smelled musty and the downstairs neighbor was in the habit of smoking a cigar in the evening causing us to have to close the windows. The downstairs rug was awful, stained everywhere and filthy. We could not put our crawling baby on it. The screens were only on half the windows and those that had them were often broken. While the bedspreads and furniture were all clean, I was shocked that a condo previous renters called “clean” was in this condition. We also had no WiFi, after three days of trying to reach vacasa for help because the WiFi network and password were not as provided, we got on the network and it’s signal strength was so weak to make it useless. Having stayed in similar units I know this was a problem specific to the condo. If we didn’t have small children many of these problems might have been forgiveable. Also, I suspect the owners have or had a dog, my allergies were bothering me the entire time I was there but only in the house, and stains on the carpet and scratches on the doors indicated a dog as wel. If they do have a dog it should have been noted so it could be avoided by those like myself with allergies. All in all, if all you care about is a clean bed, a big tv and being close to the trails, this condo will make you happy. If you want something clean for a family vacation, look elsewhere.
Manager response:
We apologize if this guest was disappointed with their rental. We do strive for guest satisfaction and appreciate this feedback that helps us improve. The carpet is scheduled for a professional cleaning, and any missing screens will be replaced. Thanks!

The condo and proximity to the trail was excellent! Minor leak in the kitchen and a few other things that could definitely be worked on but overall we truly enjoyed our stay! House had everything we needed and was clean!

We rented this unit for a girl's weekend. It was great. The unit was literally 50 feet from the Sun Dog trail. Couldn't ask for more in a ski on/ski off unit. The beds were very comfortable, linens clean and relatively new. Kitchen was well appointed with cookware, dishes and utensils. Unit could use a few more wine glasses (only 2 or 3). Bathrooms, kitchen and carpets were a bit dated but the unit was clean and furniture was not overly worn or dirty. Unit has a wood burning fireplace but suggest a study stock of matches, paper or duraflames. We had to run out and get some. Overall, would certainly recommend this unit and would stay here again.

Great location - ski in ski out. Comfortable accommodations - few maintenance issues that need to be resolved due to extreme cold temperatures this week. I would stay here again.

My family and friends stayed here a few weeks ago for the Spartan Beast. The location was great, the house was the perfect size, very clean, and a lot of fun. Yep thumbs up!

The condo was great! Excellent location and clean! Just needed a few things that would have been minor conveniences: dish towels for washing in kitchen, kitchen Garbage bags (there was only one in can when we arrived), a cutting board and there was only one roll of toilet paper in downstairs bath and 2 rolls up. One more down would have been perfect. Overall, the place was great and we'd definitely come back!

Very good accommodations

Loved the decorations. Made me feel like it was christmas already. The picture of the dining look so much bigger online and the dining table as well but we made it work. There were plenty of clean towels and the fire place was amazing. We literally made hot coco each night and sat by the fire to watch movies since it was extremely cold and there was nothing to do because it rained the whole weekend. One thing tho the community center was close. we wanted to use the hot tub and pool and we weren't notified it wasn't opened on saturdays. But overall it was a pleasant experience. The queen bed was very comfy as well:) The manager Jorge was super nice also!

It was to far from everything. During ski season would be ideal. But we went in October.
