The location on the mountain was great. The kitchen was well equipped. I liked the back deck too.

What an amazing house to stay at for our vacation in mid August. The house is advertised as Mountain Luxury, and shows lots of pictures of a spacious house. It is as advertised and more. I've learned over the years with rentals for our family that the number of bathrooms is key, and this house has 4 full bathrooms, 1 associated with each bedroom, plus a powder room. It has a hot tub that can fit 8 people, an entertainment room where part of our crew watched some movies without bothering those that weren't interested (bring your own streaming service creds). Double oven, huge refrigerator. No HVAC however. The house is a net zero house so it uses natural ways to heat and cool along with a solar array. Temps were above normal for the first couple of days so got a little warm, but nothing anyone complained about. At nighttime the only light pollution is that which the house itself produces. With all the house lights turned off and with a new moon (just lucky timing), we could see stars galore from the deck, including the milky way. My son brought a new telescope on our trip and got some amazing pictures. The house is up on a hill from which you can see Sugarbush. The location was ideal for our hiking crew with many peaks reasonably nearby along with waterfalls and swimming holes. Only downside is the gravel driveway. It is steep. Not really a problem in the summer, but I can imagine it is difficult to climb in the winter. Probably need chains to have any hope of getting up to the house with snow on the ground.

We enjoyed our stay in Unit 2 of May Farm. The unit looks like the photos and the amenities described are available. The location is great for exploring northern Vermont (Burlington, Stowe, Montpelier, Waterbury). The unit was well appointed for our needs and would recommend others to stay and enjoy the area.
