We had a full house and there was plenty of room for us all. The facilities in the house were excellent. The view from the deck was superb, with fabulous views of the lake and roaming wildlife. Would definitely stay here again!

Pine Mountain Lake is a great location for access to Yosemite.... 29 miles to the gate and 49 miles to the Valley. Also handy for a day trip to Gold Country..... Sonora, Angels Camp and Columbia. There's lots of recreation within Pine Mountain Lake....... boating, fishing, horse back riding and an excellent golf course...The best part about this home was the deck and the beautiful views of the lake and surrounding area. When home, we spent all of our time on the deck. The furniture and carpets in the living area are a bit grubby and in need of a good cleaning. Some patio furniture on the deck is old and in need of replacing...

House in great location overlooking lake with big deck. It is spacious for 4 and well equipped. There's a beach in walking distance or you can drive to Marina, which we loved. The decking and furniture a bit old but views are amazing!
It took an hour or so (at 7am) to get to Yosemite - whole reason for our visit. So that was great .
Groveland has very little to offer - very run down little town.
Unfortunately we left early due to wild fires.

Really amazing house and perfect setting for a quiet relaxing getaway

Very nice, comfortable home. The best feature is the huge deck which overlooks the lake (you can watch water skiers, see the beach / marina). About a 2.3 mile drive to the beach and marina but walking distance to the Lake Lodge for a quieter experience. Kitchen well equipped and even bedrooms 2 and 3 were quite large. Internet router did have to be unplugged and plugged back in about 5 times a day when the connection would drop but not a huge deal. Biggest issue was the house next door -- beat up cars, trash on their back deck and in their front yard. At 12:30 am one morning, there was a lot of yelling / screaming next door. Since we were out most of the day it wasn't a huge deal but did make us feel a bit uncomfortable, not knowing how far the yelling was going to go.

We enjoyed our stay. The home was cozy and had all we needed. The view was spectacular.

First impressions count for a lot and unfortunately our first impression here was an unpainted front door with an awkward lock box which took 10 minutes to get into, all the while the neighbors were loudly shouting and cussing at each other. After a long drive to get there we wondered if we'd made the right decision.

Once we got past that, the house itself was very comfortable and had everything you could need. Also a nice big deck and view of the lake.

Overall we enjoyed our time there.

A couple of notes that could be improved for future:

There's a few maintenance issues that could do with attention - the awning is a bit rough, some screens have holes in them, some light fixtures don't work and there several cobwebs etc around the place.

The wifi is really frustrating as it drops out around 10 times a day and the modem needs to be restarted each time.

Lastly, and this is the main reason I wouldn't stay again - the neighbors- the loud yelling and cussing we heard on day one continued throughout the stay - the property is a mess with abandoned cars and general trash in the yard too. With this next door, you wouldn't want to bring kids here.

Manager Response:
We apologize this stay was not as perfect as we would have hoped. The property manager has taken care of the cobwebs, asked maintenance to take care of the awning, and a formal complaint has been placed against the neighbors. Thank you!

Our family of 5 adults and two children stayed over Memorial Day. We were extremely comfortable with plenty of space. Finding a pack'n play in the upstairs closet was a pleasant surprise since we had a 2 year old with us.

Entering the house you can't but feel a sense of euphoria when you see the sweeping views of the lake and mountain from the living room. The house itself is wonderfully kept with all the beds beautifully made and well supplied with extra linen. The kitchen is fantastic with all the appliances functional and the pantry well stocked with spices. There is also a ton of silverware, dishes, pots, and pans so that really makes it easy to cook and clean. The balcony outside is huge and lends itself to beautiful sunsets.

Overall, we loved the house and would be happy to come back here again.

Great view of lake from deck. Our 5th year at this location and really enjoyed hiking and of course, the lake. Grand boys love swimming, boating and most of all the Marina Cafe

I was blown away with how beautiful the view was! You never know for sure about a "water view", and this house wasn't a disappointment. We LOVED sitting on the huge deck and enjoying the boats, wildlife, and sunsets.
