Gorgeous, dog-friendly downtown Portland condo w/ city views!
Stay in the heart of the City of Roses at this dog-friendly, one-bedroom condo with stunning city views and a modern interior. In the Park Avenue West building, you'll be just steps away from community amenities and endless restaurants and shops nearby.
The Park Avenue West building is conveniently located on SW 9th Avenue between Morrison and Yamhill, which puts you right in the action in downtown Portland. Top-notch dining options are only a few blocks away, plus Director Park is directly outside the building - the perfect spot to enjoy your breakfast outside and plan your Portland explorations.
You'll enter into the spacious main living and kitchen area of the condo, which features gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Director Park below and the surrounding city buildings. The living space features comfortable furnishings and a TV with DVD player, where you can relax after a long day exploring the city.
Open to the living room, there's a light and bright dining area with a table for four. Head over to the Saturday Farmers Market and pick up some fresh Northwest ingredients for a fun dinner at home, or enjoy takeout from one of the many delicious restaurants and food carts nearby.
Next to the living area, the updated kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you need for whipping up a fresh meal. A dishwasher makes cleanup super easy. You'll also have your own private washer/dryer in this condo so you don't have to worry about packing your entire wardrobe.
The bedroom is off of the dining area, and features a comfortable queen-size bed with plush linens and chic decor. With one bedroom and a pull-out sofabed, this condo will accommodate up to four guests plus a furry friend (a small nightly dog fee applies). The full bathroom offers plenty of space with cabinet storage and a tub-shower combo.
This condo also has central A/C, so you'll stay cool in the summer months. You'll have access to great community amenities.
When you're ready to take on the city, head outside the building and explore the area. The MAX train is right outside the building, and it can take you to some of Portland's top destinations, from the Oregon Zoo and Washington Park to shopping in Nob Hill on NW 23rd.
To explore some of Portland's more hipster spots, take the train (or ride a bike!) and head over the Willamette River to NE Mississippi or SE Hawthorne for great nightlife, restaurants, and shopping. Boat tours on the Willamette River are also a great way to learn more about the city and its many bridges!
Nature lovers will have plenty of opportunities to explore the scenery - nearby Council Crest Park is a great, pet-friendly hike with an amazing view at the top of the city and Mt. Hood in the distance. Plus, there's always the breathtaking Multnomah Falls - a must-see waterfall and hiking area about 30 miles away.

Awesome view of the city and Director Park. Nice, secluded spot in the tower at the end of the hall. Right in the middle of downtown with plenty of nearby restaurants and attractions. I'll definitely stay at Park Avenue West again.
Can't say enough about Josh and the local experience he delivered. I felt attended to and enjoyed my flat. Thank you, Vacasa! I'll be back for sure.
Beautiful Condo with a great location, close to everything!

Absolutely loved my stay here. Better than a hotel. Very comfortable and updated. Would definitely stay here again.
I really enjoyed a couple day stay in this condo. It has an excellent location within walking distance of many options for food/attractions.
This property was absolutely perfect for 2-3 guests! The unit was extremely clean prior to my arrival (which I appreciate a great deal) and was fully stocked for my 2 night stay. Thank you Vacasa for such an amazing vacation!!!!
Loved this condo in the heart of the city. Plenty of things to do and great restaurants around.
Convenient, safe and clean with the amenities of a hotel but without the noise.
Perfect spot in downtown Portland for one or two people. Several different tram lines stop within a block of the front door, including one directly to and from the airport. It was great having a full kitchen and table for 4, so that we could go to the many nearby food trucks for something cheap and yummy, then sit down and eat it in comfort with real plates and cutlery. Just a couple blocks from Pioneer Square, with a nice view of Director Park. Definitely my Portland crash pad whenever I come back.
Easy access and close to everything. Nice and clean. (a bit of a problem with the chairs, but was fixed eventually). The concierge downstairs very kind and aproachable.
We couldn’t have had a better stay at this condo. It was the perfect size and location in the middle of the city. We were able to walk around to everything and not once did we feel unsafe. The only thing that I would say was a little annoying was that there was only one key per condo if you and one other person are staying there together and might not always be with one another the entire trip.
Great place and great location. The check in process and getting the key was the easiest I have had with any VBRO/airbnb type property. It felt a bit hotel-ish, only with a kitchen, but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing. The only thing that was frustrating was that one of the pullout couches was broken. We ended up just pulling the mattress onto the floor. They also had a spare air mattress in the closet, but just thought I should call that out. I would say they could use one more blanket for the pullouts, as well.
Easy to walk to restaurants, shopping
Loved the view from our room. Enjoyed the modern interior. It was very clean and there was everything that we needed in the kitchen. The bed was very comfortable!
Great location, great view, amazing apartment!
The unit was clean and basically as we expected it. There is construction happening across the street, but we didn't hear anything and it actually played into our favor because we could almost always find street parking directly in front of the unit. The construction must have deterred people from driving down that particular block. The one tiny suggestion I have is to put a TV in the bedroom. It's kind of an expected thing, although there is a TV in the living room. Other than that, was very happy and will book again.
Couldn't be happier with the unit or the service I received..
Great location, clean, crisp, new and very safe and secure. Thank you! Loved all the amenities.
Great location, center of downtown, directly on the MAX train line, and two blocks to the streetcar and bus lines, one or three blocks to multi-cinemas, and the Elephant's deli and Nordstrom's across the street! You don't need a car. The apartment is well equipped and priced better than a hotel (which doesn't have a kitchen or washer/dryer). Many excellent restaurants within a few blocks.
Food. Easy access to public transportation. Cleanliness.
This apartment was very clean, modern, and open, with a floor-to-ceiling wall of windows overlooking Director Park. The location couldn’t be better for walking around downtown and taking public transport (or biking) to outer neighborhoods. Also, the bed was really comfortable.
Great stay. Thank you to Vacasa. Keith, the manager, is responsive and the condo was impeccably cleaned.
Keith helped us a lot during our stay.
6th floor. DT Portland. Walking distance from tons of good eats. Fancy building foyer and front desk. Great view of South Portland. Very clean apartment. Best of all was the Local Operations Manager, Keith Sooy. We needed his assistance with one minor issue we had and he was quick to serve above and beyond. Love that! Already planing our next visit to Portland and stay at Vacasa :)
There is nothing about our actual stay that was anything but terrific. We liked the apartment, location, amenities, etc. Portland is one of our favorite US cities. So our arrival, stay and departure went all without a hitch in part because of the great information packet that was sent. The second last day or our five night stay we were sent an automatic option to book a late checkout (7:00pm instead of 11:00am) for a charge of around $30.00. We accepted and paid for that despite only needing it for a few extra hours. That was a great option. We never had any contact with anyone while we were actually there - everything was on-line or from the information packet. The day after we returned home however we received an upsetting phone call from someone in management accusing us of not returning the key to the lock box and threatening us with a $250 charge for having lost the key. When that manager actually looked into it though (he should have gotten his facts straight before the phone call) it turned out the next guest had already arrived and claimed the key. Our otherwise five star experience was tainted by that phone call sad to say. I'd recommend this property for the property itself, its location, cleanliness, etc but i have some reservations now given our final interaction with the management team which, once they realized their mistake, was followed by only a tacit apology.
We are very sorry to see this guest felt accused and threatened as that was not how the conversation was intended. We did call to ask if they might have accidentally taken the key home, but we never threatened them with a fine. (Please note, it is mentioned in other emails that there will be a fine if a key is lost.) We did apologize once we realized the key was already in the hands of the next guest. Again, we are sorry to see this guest felt so uncomfortable with the interaction.
''This was a most most convenient arrangement for a two week stay. It's well located, walking distance to everything, and the parking in the garage across the street is reasonably priced. I ended up buying a folding bike at the nearby REI and largely left the car parked. Alternated between walking to restaurants, buying at the food trucks a block away, and doing my own cooking. More convenient and less expensive than a hotel."
Great location! Great View! It was clean with nice decor and was surprising spacious. I loved that I could walk to restaurants and shopping. When I did not walk, I used the lobby area to wait for my ride, another nicely decorated space.
Whether you are coming to Portland for work or for leisure staying at this property is perfect. It’s close to businesses downtown, public transportation, tons of restaurants and shopping, as well as parks and some of the city’s charming food trucks.
I will likely return to Portland for both pleasure and business at some point and will stay here if it is available.
This unit had a wonderful view. The location is downtown and the perfect experience of the uniqueness that Portland has to offer. The unit is very well maintained and extremely clean. All up to date appliances and a fully stocked kitchen for cooking. Look forward to revisiting Portland and requesting this very same unit.
Perfect location for seeing my son at university
It is very clean, central located and comfortable. However; they have non refundable policy which was not great if you may have changed your plan. They also only give you one key instead of two, we found it really inconvenient for us to plan our day.
This room was beautiful. It was so easy to check in and out. The view was unbelievable and the decor within the room was remarkable. There may have been a couple of items broken but that didn't stop me from enjoying my stay. Thank you for an incredible experience with Vacasa.
Loved everything. I have three suggestions. Coffee and sugar for coffee maker for guests although they do have coffee service in the lobby. Stock Bathroom lighting Could be more appealing. Just a big flouresenct bulb. Change it if you can. I'll bet you can't. I showed up at midnight (my bad) and it took a good twenty minutes to find a security guard to let me in. Also ad states there isn't parking on site but there is for 15 bucks a night. Which was a pleasant surprise. Near everything. Great location. Gorgeous view. Nice amenities. Modern and slick.
Nice and clean apartments in central location.
We stayed at this property for our first visit to Portland. I'm kind of a hotel snob and I wasn't impressed with the downtown hotels. I can across Vacasa and my ears perked up. Between the location and the price it was a no brainer. I called and booked, even received a last minute discount for booking so close to the date. I also needed a late check out because of our evening flight and I got to stay in the space until 7 pm for only a small fee! Any other hotel I would've had to book another night. Everyone was very kind and all the information emailed went above and beyond. They even sent a conceriege type packet with loads of suggestions. We loved the apartment and we loved the location. My boyfriend unfortunately loved this trip so much he wants to move there (sorry not happening lol) So thank you for such an easy and wonderful trip, you had these first timers sold.
I come to Portland monthly for work and stay in these units every time. They are clean, nicely furnished, and in an a great location. I will be sure to continue staying with Vacasa in these condos.
The view of downtown Portland from this condo is great! Will be staying here again!
This property was wonderful. Very clean and the decor was tastefully done. I would love to stay in this unit next time I am in Portland.
Great location. They were a little stingy with some things such as only providing 2 bath towels for a 3 night stay, as well as only 1 package of soap for 1 load of laundry. We also used the pull-out couch and there was no comforter for it. Since we got in at 10 pm we had to call in the morning. They were happy to bring us these items the next day but, would have preferred the forethought. Also for some reason we never had hot water. It was always lukewarm showers (not a huge fan) . They also only provide you with one key. Would have been much nicer to have 2 because you have to use if for elevator access as well so my husband and I would have to plan our xmas shopping day so that we would be able to access the room accordingly. Besides these things it was a nice, clean spot to land for a 4 day Portland trip.
If you want to stay in the heart of all the best places to visit and walk, this is it. Clean, well equipped and a very comfortable sofa and mattress. This is also a quiet building for it's location.
This apartment has a great location. Close to public transport and very convenient. We found a few issues - if you plan to sleep on the couch (i.e. if you have 4 people), you should know that they have covered the mattress in plastic (cling wrapped). This made it very difficult for us to sleep. They did not provide a second comforter either. Just a thin sheet. The apartment was not cleaned appropriately when we got there. There was hair in the bathroom and dirty dishes in the dish washer. My advice is that if you stay here, first make sure they have decided to remove the plastic from the mattress and that they will assure that the place is clean. Otherwise, this place is great.
We appreciate receiving this feedback. The only thing between the mattresses and the sheets are the mattress pads, so we are unsure of where any plastic would have come from. The missing linens have been replaced and extra bedding has been provided. Thanks!
A very nice unit in a convenient location for exploring Portland, but I wouldn't arrive earlier than they want you to. Flew into town early in the day, as one who wants to make the most of their trip would do. The rental company offered us no place to store our bags until the 4:00 check in and couldn't arrange ANY accommodation for us other than to lug our bags around the city all day until their 4:00 check in. We were also not told this ahead of time so we were not able to plan accordingly. Unacceptable.
The location is amazing. You're right in the middle of downtown and can walk just about anywhere. I would highly recommend this location!
It worked perfectly for my situation.
