Nothing fancy here but very private and clean. It was exactly what we wanted just a nice quite getaway. This cabin is very close to everything only a few miles from town and right outside unicoi state park where there is a ton to do like fishing hiking biking kayaking and Anna ruby falls a beautiful hike and waterfall. This cabin was close to everything couldn’t have been more perfect.

Just what was needed. The cabin was clean, quite, and beautiful. Thanks, we will return!

We had a lovely time playing board games in front of the fireplace. Drank awesome cocktails and made great food. We enjoyed our time here immensely. To be honest if it wasn't for the cabin, the trip would of been a disappointment.
Helen, Ga was not all that great. This little cabin was a nice getaway from the city.
The Vacasa company had great directions to the cabin along with general information about the cabin. Check in was a breeze. The cabin was cute and cozy. It is exactly as pictured. We were very pleased with our stay and will most definitely go back. There was only one hitch in our stay, the jetted tub was not working, but we have brains and figured it wasn't plugged in, and voila that was it. My husband hates baths so I got that bad boy all to myself. It was a delight.
Some recommendations for those who are planning on staying there.
1. Bring firewood, it is not provided. There are plenty of places along the drive where you can purchase it. Or you can pay $5 at the closest general convenience store for a small bundle.
2. If you're a game player bring board games/ playing cards. There are not any there.

The view was awesome as we enjoyed the crisp mountain air from our secluded hot tub. We will be back!!

Loved the beautiful nature and privacy.

My husband and I had a nice quick weekend away for our anniversary. We loved the open concept and the overall cabin feel. The screened in porch was a hit along with the hot tub. The short drive to town was nice when we needed to get out, so we didn’t feel like our weekend was wasted driving here and there. Overall we had s great time with nothing to complain about.

Not much bang for the buck love the area not cabin #247
Manager response:
We are disappointed to read this guest was not satisfied with the cabin. Most of our guests find it a perfect place to recharge their batteries in a spacious, quiet setting with a wonderful outdoor hot tub. Thank you!

The cabin was just right for me. I wanted a getaway from the big city, and this worked well. It was easy to find, and secluded. I was worried there would be a lot of cabins around me, but that's not the case. I had complete privacy. The outdoor hot tub was just wonderful, and the indoor jacuzzi bath was also quite nice. The internet was pretty stable and let me still feed a connection to the world. I plan to stay here again.

It was private but a short ride to things. It was so peaceful

We were looking for a nice long weekend away, with no schedules and to just relax. My wife booked this cabin and I thought it was going to be small but it really wasn't. It was plenty big enough where we didn't feel like we were tripping over each other but cozy enough to reconnect and just enjoy hanging out without "life" stressing us out. The kitchen had most everything we needed and was easy to whip a meal together. The view is amazing!! Sitting in the hot tub and listening to the birds was just what we needed. We will be back for sure!!

This cabin is at the end if the road so you have total seclusion and woods all around so the Jacuzzi dip is in total privacy . A gas grill is a plus if you want to grill out .

Dont waste your money staying in this cabin. We left an entire day early because of how miserable it was making the trip. The cabin is run down, things are broken and dirty and stained. They appear to have been this way for a while so dont think it was just the people before us who destroyed the cabin. The fridge did not work. The bed was stained and uncomfortable. The cabinets were stained and broken. The kitchen isnt stocked enough to cook a basic meal. There isnt enough hot water to fill the jacuzzi even half way. The couch is scratched up and broken down. The bathroom had mildew. The interior doors are coming apart. And Vacasa will barely answer the phone once you arrive. Terrible!!! They should be ashamed to rent this place out.
Manager response:
We are sorry to see this guest did not have a more enjoyable stay, and we are very sorry to see they had difficulties reaching us as we would have been happy to assist with these things had we been notified. We have inspected all bedding for any stains and have found none. We have also found the fridge to be working. The couch is not scratched though it does have some wrinkles in its leather that appear to be scratches. We were also unable to locate any mildew or have any difficulty with the hot water. Again, we are very sorry to see this guest did not enjoy their stay.

Great memories made

The cabin was nice and maintained. My only complaint was no one was physically available for service. We we're able to call and have towels brought directly to our cabin. The signs posted in the cabin stated we needed to bring dirty linens to the vacasa location and "exchange" for clean one. We did so but no one was available. We called and immediately got help. This is a small complaint but was untimately not a concern.

Wonderful trip to the North Georgia Mountains .... Very Close to Helen Ga.and surrounding areas .... Great weekend trip away from the city .
Erik V. Nov 2017
It is a nice little cabin in pleasant surroundings
Leah H. Nov 2017
The perfect size for our little family!
Jason F. Nov 2017
Nice cabin that is close to Helen but not right in town. Very quiet and peaceful place to go relax.
Charles W. Oct 2017
Great cabin. Secluded, but only about 10-15 minutes to groceries and many restaurants.
Nicolas B. Oct 2017
Great location. Pricing could be a little better but we will definitely be back.
Lindsey M. Oct 2017
This was amazing. The location was perfect secluded so you can do your own thing, but close enough to Helen, on the same road as the cabins road there are plenty of hiking trails and family friendly little spots to stop and hike or see the lake. We brought our two dogs and they loves the screened in porch more than enough room for all of us!
Beth D. Oct 2017
This is a very cute cabin made for 2. It is small but space planned very well. We were very happy for our weekend at Oktoberfest.
Megan K. Aug 2017
This cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway. The perfect size for a couple, secluded area and not far from town.
Donna M. Aug 2017
Cabin was clean inside, but they need to up their game on repairs. Stove burners crooked, hot tub cover broken, light was out over the stove making it very difficult to see while cooking. Tv remote batteries needed to be replaced. This specific cabin is at the end of the dirt road, no really pretty scenery .
Manager response:
All repair items have been addressed and handled. Many of our cabins do not have mountain views, but they are all in wooded mountain areas which are quite attractive.
Courtney S. Aug 2017
It was a good stay.... I would definitely stay there again.... i am going to tell all my friends about it
Michael C. Jul 2017
Great cabin! Much larger and more secluded than appeared in photos! Great spot close to Helen and many trails and VERY PRIVATE! Great couples getaway! We will definitely return to this cabin soon!
Cynthia A. Jul 2017
GREAT weekend away. Very secluded. Lots of closeness in this cozy cabin. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi. We brought food to cook and ate all but one of our meals at the cabin. We DEFINATELY intend to come back to this cabin.
Katie O. May 2017
Great house and spot but the rental service could be more responsive. The house is very nice and perfect for a weekend getaway otherwise.
Josh B. Apr 2017
Do not stay with vacasa. Cabin was basically falling apart and on top of the poor cleaning that i had to pay a cleaning fee for I had to take the garbage 2 miles down the road in my car to put in a dumpster. The roof leaked. Hot tub did not work. Shower head fell apart while taking a shower. Cob webs everywhere. Bathroom faucet would spray water everywhere and would take forever to drain. The bed was so hard that I might as well have slept on the floor. I will never stay with Vacasa again!
Manager response:
We are disappointed to read about this guest's experience. Maintenance inspected the hot tub, shower head, and faucet and found that all are working as they should be. Thank you!
Julie W. Mar 2017
We enjoy relaxing the in the hot tub, surrounded by beautiful trees. It's a treat to be able to get away from the city and unwind for a few days. The surrounding areas are beautiful and no one is in a hurry. A bonus: we discovered the BEST dull pickles and boiled peanuts and Nana's Farmer's Market on Hwy 76, just a few miles from the cabin
Chris R. Mar 2017
We greatly enjoyed our stay at this adorable cabin!
Jerry R. Feb 2017
We were overall very satisfied with our stay.
Josh C. Feb 2017
My wife and I went for a short trip. The cabin was perfect for two. The privacy was great and the cabin well cleaned and comfortable. I would recommend to anyone! Will definitely stay again.
Steven M. Jan 2017
Loved it Great place to stay.
Daniel H. Nov 2016
Nice but not secluded... Close to trails and good hiking but because of wildlife whomever stayed behind us had dogs barking all night!
Noelani C. Nov 2016
Beautiful area. Cozy cabin with lots of amenities. Helpful owners. Would come back in a heartbeat. Had an awesome stay!
Debbie R. Oct 2016
We had to ask for directions since there are no signs to point you towards the cabins. The signs are not easy to find and one does not match the directions a all. They will tell you to go west while it reads north. Cabin is nice and well built, loved it enjoyed my stay.
Manager response:
We apologize that getting to the cabin was difficult for this guest. The Property Manager has double-checked the driving directions provided for accuracy.
LINDORA G. Oct 2016
