Resort at Squaw Creek condo w/ ski-in/out access, shared outdoor pool & hot tub

Spend a weekend (or week) surrounded in luxury at this one bedroom suite at the Resort at Squaw Creek! You'll be pampered and well taken care of in this space - not only is there a separate bedroom, but also a classic living room with bay windows and comfortable furniture, a basic kitchen, and lots of room to spread out. Perfect for a romantic getaway or ski weekend with friends, you'll find you never want to leave this snuggly spot in the Sierra Nevada mountain range, especially not when you see the resort's shared hot tub and pool. (Please note that upon check-in, the resort will collect a $30 per night resort fee directly from guests.)

After a day on the slopes, you'll love coming back and making hot cocoa or even a hot toddy and sitting on the sofa in front of the gas fireplace. You can use the WiFi to check email (or not). The large flat screen TV with cable provides entertainment on lazy evenings when you just want to stay inside and enjoy the cozy ambiance. Have more in your group? Rent this condo along with Resort at Squaw Creek 605.

The bedroom has its own flat screen TV, comfortable king sized bed, closet, dresser - everything to make you feel right at home. The bed is so comfortable you may just want to bring a cup of coffee back to bed in the morning for a leisurely paper-reading session. There is a large full bathroom and this Squaw Creek unit, which also includes a sleeper sofa in the living room, will sleep four guests comfortably.

Your dining options in Squaw Valley are diverse and plentiful, including your very own kitchen. With a stovetop, refrigerator, sink, microwave, toaster, and even a dishwasher, you'll have everything you need to make a brunch with omelets or pancakes, soups and sandwiches for lunch, and even sauteed chicken breasts with a lemon wine sauce for a cozy, romantic dinner. Of course, you could always head out to one of the resort's five restaurants serving everything from filet mignon and Pacific salmon at the Six Peaks Grill to espressos and pastries at Sweet Potatoes Deli to a California chopped salad, signature burgers and local microbrews at Sandy's Pub.

Right outside your room at this destination resort at the base of Squaw Valley, you can enjoy all the best that the area has to offer. With its own private triple chair lift, you'll truly have a ski-in, ski-out experience here with no waiting! There's also an on-site cross-country ski center with over 400 acres of groomed trails running through the stunning Sierra Nevada range for both nordic skiing and snowshoeing. You can also zip through some of Squaw valley's most breathtaking snowmobile trails. During the holiday season, there's even sleigh rides to go on - ho ho ho!

You might be understandably tempted to think that Squaw Creek Resort and Squaw Valley is only a winter destination (especially if you know that Squaw Valley was the site of the 1960 Winter Olympics), but you would be incorrect. In summer, there's just as many activities! The resort is home to an 18-hole championship golf course, a fly fishing center, hiking and backpacking nature trails, and even horseback riding, with guided horseback riding tours through the stunning vistas of Alpine Meadows.

Year-round an amazing outdoor pool complex is available with a large recreation pool, specialty plunge pool, a 120-foot water slide, a children's pool, hot tub, and three outdoor year-round whirlpools. Sports-minded guests can play tennis or go on a whitewater rafting or kayaking adventure on the Truckee River.

It's easy to see why so many lucky travelers flock to the Squaw Valley area and why a stay at Squaw Creek Resort is so desirable. On your next Lake Tahoe region vacation, make your home away from home at this luxurious one bedroom unit for an unforgettable, pampered getaway!

Thank you for a great time. Watch out for hotel fees

Location, location, location! Squaw Valley is simply stunning. The resort was lovely with wonderful amenities.

We had a good two nights stay at a clean and spacious 607. Service and staff at the resort are good. Unfortunately both my husband and I were under the weather, so we spent a good chunk of time in bed resting. The bed was comfortable so we had some good rest. One reminder to future guests is that you are required to pay a resort fee of $30/night. When I made the reservation, I thought it was a good deal. At the end it was an expensive stay. You need to factor in different costs which for us came out to be about $150 more. So beware of the hidden costs before booking .

That’s what I really feel, but I’m hoping to prod improvements rather than harm. The Resort is beautiful. We’ve stayed in other units and took a gamble on 607. The look of the place was familiar, but the rough edges were many: crumbs all over the worn and stained carpet, loose fixtures and water damage in the bathroom, holes in the pillowcases, worn walls and furniture. If you can book 607 at a large discount, maybe. But do it knowing that if there is a problem, the Resort won’t help, and the owners don’t give contact info, so you’ll be stuck.
Manager response:
We apologize if this guest was disappointed with their accommodations. The resort does the cleaning and stocks the linen for this unit, so we have been in touch with them regarding those comments. We are currently working on painting and replacing the grout that appears to have water damage. Thank you!

We've stayed here a few times and always love it... in the winter with ski lift access and ski concierge when you're done. In the summer with the great hiking, as well as bike rentals. Both restaurants are wonderful, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Easy to book with Vacasa too.

Hi, we just had another wonderful stay at the Resort at Squaw Creek. We had 4 days of spring skiing, sunshine and 50 degree weather, 1 day of rain, and 2 days of major snow. We actually welcomed the rain as it gave us a break from skiing. We have two boys, 9 and 10 and they enjoy non stop activities at the Resort - skiing, sledding, play room, big heated pool and jacuzzi.
Unit 607 was roomy enough for the 4 of us, and we had breakfast each morning as well as several meals in the unit. Very relaxing for my wife and I as the boys now know their way to the pool, playroom, and sledding slope. Also, the Squaw Creek lift area has some good skiing - blue, black, and double blue. Great trip.

beautiful place to stay at, very quiet. Small functional kitchen. Just some info for future guests. 1. it's pretty expensive with the added fees, etc. came out to be almost $1000 for 2 nights. They do tell you the total price before you reserve it. 2. The condo is actually in the resort hotel. it is a room within the hotel, access to all the facility is just like you are staying right at the resort, which you are. (I didn't know that, I thought it would be at a separate building, condo area.) It's just that the room is not owned by the hotel, but rather, I guess run by the hotel. 3. Since you are literally at the resort, but staying at a privately owned condo, you have to pay a resort fee of $25 per day to the resort hotel, because you have total access to all the resort amenities such as pool and hot tub. This resort fee you have to pay to the resort hotel was not mentioned in the description until after you reserve the room.

We had a lovely time. The condo was perfect for us and our two children. The kitchen was had everything you'd need and we discovered a dishwasher in a lower drawer before we left. Great use of space. Large beautiful windows in the bedroom and main living area made it feel open and had a wonderful view.

We were there for just 2 nights but really wished it could have been longer! The resort is beautiful with a very welcoming staff! I loved the wine tasting in the lobby when we arrived. The condo was great. Nicely decorated, comfortable beds and had a wonderful updated bathroom. The kitchen is stocked with nice cook ware and utensils only so be sure to bring paper towels and all cooking ingredients if you are going to be using the kitchen.
Overall we had a fabulous stay and would definitely stay here again!
