Behind the greenbelt (within walking distance of the house) is the community park with large cypress trees, picnic tables and bbq grills, kids' fishing pond, and a seasonal creek feeding into Canyon Lake. The road leading to boat ramp #11 for Canyon Lake is just across from the park. From here you're just 20 minutes to Blanco, the Blanco river and state park, tubing on the Guadalupe River, numerous wineries, and all that Canyon Lake has to offer. You're 45 minutes to the historic town of Gruene and New Braunfels, and 1 hour to either Austin or downtown San Antonio with the Alamo and famous River Walk. If you're in the area for a wedding at either Remi's Ridge at Hidden Falls or Hayes Hollow at hidden falls, you're less than five minutes away.
