We just got back from a wonderful long weekend in Seven Devils and this home was exactly what our busy family needed. The location was perfect — just minutes from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, close to Grandfather Vineyard & Winery, and near grocery stores, which made everything so convenient. The house was spotless, had great amenities, and the hosts were fantastic to work with. The layout was ideal for families — the bunk area and game space were huge hits with our 4- and 7-year-old, and having a full bathroom on each floor made everything so easy. We especially appreciated the coffee stations (a must for parents!) and the fully stocked kitchen, while still having great options nearby if we wanted to go out. As a full-time working mom, I’m so grateful for a place that made it simple to unplug and make sweet memories with our kids and friends. We’d absolutely stay again.

Our stay was great. The cabin was beautiful and had amazing decor. We would have appreciated some dishwashing soap, soap in the showers and more towels. Many of the bottles in the shower were completely empty and the liquid soap on the canister. Some of the stove and oven buttons don’t work but the microwave is great. Overall, I highly recommend.

This is a nice older home. Our biggest issue was a broken dishwasher still loaded with dirty dishes when we arrived. The drive and road to the house require 4 wheel drive or snow chains in the winter if it is snowing or has recently snowed. We didn't see that anywhere in the listing so we wanted to warn others. The driveway is a tight right hand turn and steep. The house is kept at 55 degrees when unoccupied in the winter so be prepared for a cold first night. The home was spacious and close to Hawks Nest but I wouldn't recommend planning to walk because there is no sidewalk on the curvy mountain road to get there. The beds are very much on the firm side so keep that in mind when renting. We would rent this place again.
