This house was perfect for my family and there plenty of nature for kids to explore. My three boys loved ever but of it.
Only one recommendation to the owner is that the yard need some attention not a lot and I would put in a burn pit instead of just a big burnt spot in the middle of the grass.
Other then that it was perfect for our family we can’t wait to book it again.
Manager response:
thank you for providing your valuable feedback, as we use your comments as a means to continually improve. Please know that local staff is available to assist if there are issues with the amenities offered. We hope to have a chance to host your next visit, thank you!

The property is not nearly as "nice" as photos make it appear. That being said it was affordable, clean and usable.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Christopher. We sincerely apologize for the disappointment. We try our best to provide accurate and up-to-date photos of our homes online so our guests know exactly what to expect upon arrival. We appreciate your feedback and will be sure to pass this along to our local management team. Thank you for staying with us. We hope to have the opportunity to impress you in the future!

The place was clean, but needs a lot of repairs. The photographs do not depict the residence accurately. It did the job.
Manager response:
Hello Carlos, we are glad you enjoyed the cleanliness of Sea Spray Hideaway. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We will be sure to pass your suggestions along to our local manager who will work with our homeowner to make necessary upgrades. We look forward to hosting you again!

We loved the place and location. Confortable, Internet very fast, hot water and nature around. Heater and air conditioner very easy to handle it. I was delighted with the rooster crowing in the morning. A few little details to mention is the lack of instructions how to find for instance can opener or the silverware.
Thanks. Tony

I came with my three kids and spouse. We never got bored! So much to see, so much to do, We even worked from there, if we had to jump on tue computer one could go to one part of tue house and the other on the other side. There’s so much space, everything is clean.

Beautiful view and overall clean house. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to doing it again. Thank you for having us!

The location was great with easy access to beaches and the estuary. Shops and such were also an easy distance. There was a lot of space and in a quiet spot with a great view of the estuary. The beds were comfortable as well. Lots of seating and a great yard. Loved the games and we had a lot of fun playing them.
I would have given it 5 stars but there were some things that could be easily done at little expense that would make the stay a lot better.
The kitchen was hit and miss in what is there.
Needs baking sheets and pots-we planned on some oven items for dinners and we had to change as there wasn't anything we could use in the oven.
There were only three dishwashing tablets for a three-night stay and during an extreme risk level for Covid, so we were eating in for our meals. We used a lot of paper plates as we couldn't wash the dishes by hand either because it was on the last night I finally found a little bottle of dishwashing liquid under the extra trash bags.
Need dishrags or sponges-had to use a washcloth.
Coffee filters were way in the back on the cupboard under something. Also, some coffee and tea packets would be nice.
There were bags of ice in the freezer which was nice but I think someone else left them. If no ice is provided please have some ice trays.
add Potato peeler and measuring cups
Needs a cutting board
The dining room table light has no switch to turn it on??? We even bought a bulb and tried to change it just in case. Nothing turns it on that we could find.
The table, benches, and counter edges are a rough bark that catches on your clothes or pokes you and hurts when sliding in and out of the table.
Please spend a little money and put a handrail on the stairs and no-slip strips on the stair edges. Our youngest slipped and fell a few steps, a handrail or strips would have prevented that accident.
There were two more that would be nice to change:
Move the microwave onto a shelf or something. It is really hard to use the toaster or coffee maker and there isn't any counter space.
TV is very small for that large wonderful living room.

With all that said, we did enjoy our stay and would consider returning especially if the kitchen was better outfitted.
Manager response:
We are so glad you stayed with us and appreciate your useful comments. The homeowner has recently visited the home and addressed your concerns. All missing kitchen items have been located or replaced, and the table has been sanded down. The dining room light switch has been fixed. There is now a handrail for the stairs, but non-slip strips will not be placed on the wooden steps. Housekeeping is supposed to leave a new sponge for each guest, and we do apologize if this was missed. We hope to see you again! Thank you, Patricia!

The house has a ton of potential in a decent location. However, upon arrival we found that the bedding was dirty with muddy dog tracks, the towels were folded and put away dirty and there was only 4 towels total for a house that is supposed to accommodate 8 people. Overall, we are easy going people, we washed everything and made things work. But, when you go on vacation the last thing you want to do is laundry. The homeowner also has clearly took every shortcut and spent as little as possible on this home to keep it rentable.
Manager response:
Hi, Brandon. Thank you for your review. We’re sorry to hear that the home was in this condition upon your arrival - please know that this is not the regular standard for our properties. We have worked closely with our local staff to address these concerns thoroughly and to ensure that our future cleanings live up to the Vacasa standard. We apologize for any missteps, as it is never our intention to disappoint. We hope to have the opportunity to better impress you in the future.

A little love could go a long way with this property... unfortunately that’s not the case.

I’ll start with pros:

-close to towns and amenities
-private with a nice water view

-Extraordinarily dangerous stairs leading downstairs to the bedrooms. They are steep, narrow and carpeted and within the first 5 minutes I fell down them AND BROKE MY TAILBONE. My friend fell the following day. We are both physically capable young people btw. If you are above 18 and not a gymnast I highly suggest avoiding.
-They supply kitchen basics like cutlery, coffee maker, and plates but you need to bring your own coffee filters, and salt and pepper (it’s completely empty of what is commonly supplied at stocked rentals)
-A little love would go SO far. There were stains on the curtains and bead spreads. I feel like to spruce this place up would not be an investment at all.

Overall I just feel like this place has been left by the wayside. It’s definitely large and has a nice view but overall the bad outweighed the good.

This house was awful smelled of mold and mildew. Extfamly dangerous stairs in the home 3 people in our group fell down them. Parking is awful. The pictures make this place look amazing but it was awful.
Manager response:
Hello Shiaynne, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Our local manager has confirmed that yearly the health inspectors come to the home to confirm that the home is safe and that there is no mold or anything dangerous in the home. The homeowner is currently at the home making updates. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope we have the chance to host you again.
Janel A. Aug 2020
Adequate, but not great. No hangers provided, had an iron but no ironing board, see-through curtains, smell like a wet dog. It met our needs, But would not stay there again.
Manager response:
Thank you for staying with us, Janel. We are sorry to hear the condition of the home did not meet your expectations. We will ensure that all areas of concern are addressed appropriately in an effort to provide a more pleasant stay for our guests. We appreciate your feedback and hope to provide you with a more comfortable experience next visit!
Leslie C. Jul 2020
The isolated location was lovely and very private (with the exception of the logging occurring nextdoor until 10pm).
Manager response:
Thank you Leslie for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry for the issues you encountered during your stay. We are very sorry that due to that noise disruption you didn’t have a comfortable evening of rest. Regrettably, those things are out of our control. We are sorry this experience had a negative impact on your stay, and we hope to have the chance to impress you in the future.
Stanley M. Jun 2020
The house was in a quiet neighborhood. It was just really ran down. Outside the paths to the slough had not been maintained so we didn’t venture outside. There was a lot of over growth outside. The couches and beds were not comfortable at all. The house accommodated our needs for the weekend.
Manager response:
Thank you for sharing your feedback, Stanley. We are sorry to hear this home was not as expected. We appreciate you bringing these items to our attention, and we will work with our maintenance team to make repairs and improvements. We hope to have another chance to impress you in the future!

Loved the location. Beautiful place.
Steve J. Jul 2019
Very comfortable house and close to the harbor and Coos bay. Quite country road and lots of privacy! Would have liked it if the screens doors would have opened and closed, also if there was wall way down to the slough. We will be booking again though!
Darrin D. Jul 2019
It was completely comfy and met our needs.
Moses R. Sep 2018
This was a very roomy place. the view was spectacular.
Fair price compared to Hawaii where we are from.
We stated 10 days
it would have been nice to have have a bedroom door in the upstairs bedroom. And a bathroom door that worked correctly the door stop in the door jam was missing,
Outdoor furniture on both decks would have been nice.
All in all it was a great place and a great value.
We will stay here again when our son graduates from Southwestern College,

Great location, lots of room, clean. Obviously a work in progress- so not everything is perfect, way more comfortable rhen a hotel room, though.
Shelly P. Aug 2018
The house has plenty of space and privacy. Very large washer and dryer. Very private but close to everything. Very close to beaches.
Kimberly W. Jul 2018
Nice big space and pretty view but serious plumbing issues and odd odor. None of the bathroom or bedroom doors shut, so only go with people that you are very comfortable with! Work really needs to be done before this home should be rented out again.
Manager response:
We apologize for the issues with the doors. One bedroom has a new door in place, and the others in the home all shut well for privacy. We did discover a clog in the drain after this guest's departure and have removed it. Thanks!
