House was clean and well stocked with towels, extra pillows, etc. Communication before the trip was clear and helpful.

The views were beautiful and living rooms were comfortable and spacious! Perfect gathering home for 6 adults staying in home and 2 adults who came over to visit!
The proximity and access to beach were great!
The pool was lovely!
It was nice to have 4 bedrooms each with own bathroom.
So glad to have found such a wonderful dog friendly home! We will be back!

This is the 3rd year we have stayed here. The house is clean and suites all of our wants. Quick bike ride to the beach.
Alana L. Jul 2022
The fours home was exactly what we needed for our family of 7 and 3 dogs. We arrived to a super clean home that looked exactly as the photos pictured it! It was in a great location and good proximity to the beach. We really enjoyed the pool! We did see an alligator on more than one occasion but he stayed in the water :) the bed we slept in was comfortable (the pillows were not, so bring your own). The layout of the home was great with all the rooms having their own bathroom. I would stay at this home again for sure!!
Manager response:
Alana, thank you for sharing your feedback! We are glad you enjoyed your stay. We appreciate you letting us know there is room for improvement, and we'll pass your comments regarding bed comfort onto our management team for consideration. We hope to have another chance to impress you in the future!

exterior and pool area very nice

We loved the Vacasa experience- able to get the packet with the parking passes, discounts, and keyless entry. We loved the pool & hot tub, and how both were accessible from 2 of the bedrooms. The house was comfortable and just the right size for 6 adults & 4 kids to enjoy. The location was convenient to the beach and local amenities.

Great layout for a family! Very comfortable.

Thank you for a wonderful property where we felt comfortable, relaxed, rested, close to the things we wanted to do, safe, and warm/cool as needed. The check-in experience was easy and seamless. The house absolutely looked as it does in the photos on the listing and the whole family ooohed and ahhhed when we entered, noting how nice everything looked. The bedrooms were very nice and the beds themselves very comfortable. The water temperature for showers was excellent! It was a great feature to have so many bathrooms to choose from, and I know my kids and mother-in-law appreciated the privacy that allowed them. The Carolina room is a fantastic room to gather in, and the TV worked very well. The dinner table was a perfect place for a family meal and a cards game or two, and the kitchen was sufficiently stocked to make it easy for us to prepare some Hello Fresh meals when we didn’t want to go out. Would have loved a small bottle of olive oil to cook but that might be pushing it😃. Coffee maker worked very well, and the fridge and freezer were great, as was the dishwasher. The proximity to golf, beach, and other activities was fantastic. It really was everything we had hoped for, minus the pool difficulties. Please let the owners know we loved their home and appreciated the chance to enjoy it. We’d stay there again in a heartbeat, and hope to see it available on our next trip. I will miss my early morning wakeups sitting on the deck with coffee in hand overlooking the 17th green of Atlantic Dunes and watching for the swimming gators. It was a great way to start each day. The golfers appreciated the applause for shots well struck or putts well holed too!

As noted, we did have difficulty with the pool, such that we were unable to use it until the last full day of our vacation. Vacasa worked hard to correct the issue but was not helped much in terms of timely ( or quality of ) response of its contracted pool servicing company. I appreciated both Operations Manager Sierra and Guest Experience Manager Catherine both for trying to bring resolution to a difficult situation.

I expect others may have suggested this as well, and I offered my own suggestion, asking the owners add a pool cover to their beautiful property. My sense is that a pool cover would serve multiple good uses, both in terms of keeping the pool clean during the season we experienced where leaves and Spanish moss came down in such large quantities and settled at the bottom of the pool such that skimming still didn’t make the pool usable. It would also retain heat for the pool, lower the heating costs for both owner and renter ( which seem VERY high at $95 per day) and it would provide an added safety measure for renters with little children. It likely would have avoided the experience we had as well, as it would be very clear when the pool company serviced the pool ( as it appears they did not do so on Saturday we checked in - or if they did, they did a very poor job). The pool company tried to explain the situation as driven by hard rains at night causing the problems. The photos I shared with Vacasa of the next door neighbor’s unused but crystal clear pool next door throughout our experience indicated otherwise, and to its credit, Vacasa did not explain it away as caused by nature and not controllable. I also did recommend providing clear instructions on how to use the pool and spa heater. With no documentation, we were left to figure it out ourselves, stationing one person at the controls by the pool and one person at the kitchen dashboard to shout out when the spa light was lit to indicate it was initially being heated. Took us a bit but we figured it out.

We left the renters after us a small bag of Dunkin Donuts regular and decaf coffee grounds so they could have something before the eventual run to Publix. We also left five or six laundry pods in the plastic cup in the laundry room, as there were none for us. We did appreciate the dishwasher pods that were left. If you need coffee in the AM, either bring it with you or plan a Publix run the night you check in.

One last note : It was explained to me that the loss of use of the pool was being treated as a loss of amenity, very specific language used in all of my communications with Sierra, Catherine, and the (Hidden by Airbnb) direct messaging help. It was explained that Vacasa treats a loss of amenity as a $25 per day credit. I asked for a more specific explanation only because with all of the amenities offered, it would be hard for me to equate loss of the pool ( a huge reason we rented this property) with loss of a different amenity, such as tv or the microwave, which would not negatively impact a vacation nearly as much. I feel like not having the pool available is a pretty big deal and deserves some extra consideration for the compensation back to us for its lack of availability for use. Again, I commend Sierra, Catherine, and the (Hidden by Airbnb) help team for timely and intentional communication throughout our experience. I always felt heard and that Vacasa was trying to do right by us as the situation unfolded and worked toward resolution.

Would be a five star review without hesitation if not for the pool concerns, and I hope the owners do take action either in getting a different pool servicing company or adding a pool cover. It is much too nice a property and location to have one’s guests say anything other than “Perfect!” upon checking out. Enjoy your stay here!

The house was perfect for my family and grandparents. The backyard and pool are very relaxing. Also very nice view on the 17th green.
Beach access is not a real issue.. Just walk across the golf course.
Great location and close to Harbor Town and south beach.

We all loved the house and we will be back again.
Brenda M. Sep 2021
Very comfortable home in perfect location. Too cool for pool to use without heat. We will return. Would be great to have fire pit (either one of them) to be working and/or available for use. Perfect week to be in Sea Pines!!!

The Fours Home was perfect for my family of 7 adults and one dog. This 4 bed 4 bath house with a pool was everything they advertised it to be. We arrived to a clean well cared for home, that was spacious and beautiful. Although the house was clean there was a stale smell in the place when we arrived. We were prepared with our Lysol and scented candles. It took about a day to get that stale smell out, after that it was great. I believe we all especially loved the pool and patio area. It was so nice just to sit around the pool as a family. The first day we were there we were greeted by a nice size alligator that was laying out of the water in the grass. That was the first time most of us had seen an alligator in person. After that on a daily basis, we observed one or two gator's cruising by in the water. We even spotted up to three deer wandering around the property. The 4 bedrooms each with its own bathroom was perfect for our group. Each bedroom had a TV but the bedroom TV's only allowed for streaming programs. Some old-school adults have not yet mastered the streaming way of life :-) It took a minute to get the TV in the family room to show the Spectrum cable programs. But we got it working and the group was extremely happy. This was my second time staying in a property managed by Vacasa and I trust them completely to deliver. Would I recommend or return to The Fours Home, I would. Would I recommend Vacasa Property Management, I would and I have.

The layout of the house was wonderful and we couldn't believe it was a pet-friendly house because of the cleanliness. The only drawback was the access to the beach. We either had to sneak across the golf course, walk through the neighbors' backyards, or take the very long bike paths to get to a pedestrian beach access. For a family of 6 with lots of beach gear it was a bit inconvenient, but, of course, worth it to sit on the beaches of Hilton Head all day!

Stayed here with 2 other moms and our elementary school boys. Pool and hot tub we’re a hige hit. Bedroom with the bunks was perfect for the oldest 4. When we first got to the home, it smelled a bit dank, but dogs are allowed, so this was to be expected. Got a few air fresheners, and we never smelled anything again. Beach access
was not that close, but overall had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed this home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and the property. Great location in Sea Pines which we visit each year. This is our favorite property thus far and hope to rent it again next year.
Cody T. Sep 2019
Clean and spacy with good proximity to the beach. Pool and being on the lagoon was a nice plus. We hope to stay there again!
Thomas C. Aug 2019
Nice property. Pool a plus. Close to beach.
Susan C. Jul 2019
Very well equipped and clean house! It’s nice that each bedroom had its own bathroom.. i just wish they had beach chairs and that the hot tub worked..
Manager response:
We're so glad you enjoyed your stay in our home! Unfortunately, we do not offer pool heat between the months of June and August at this time. Although they are not heated, the pool and attached spa are still cleaned, filled, and available for guest use during these months. We hope to host you again!
Chris F. Jul 2019
This house was a nice rental that was also pet friendly. 4th bathroom was ideal and it is only a 10-12 minute walk to the beach. Very clean and well kept. We would stay there again!
Kayla N. Jul 2019
We really enjoyed the house for a girl's weekend. There were some issues with the lights, but the problem was quickly addressed.

We had a family vacation at this home and everything exceeded our expectations. Location, amenities of home and pool
