Wonderful cabin full of character and well-located near Franconia State Park with gorgeous views. Poorly managed by Vacasa: large leak in shower that pours onto staircase; tap water that smells like it comes from septic system; broken burners on range stovetop; and entirely unresponsive host (Vacasa) during the entirety of our 4-day stay. Owners should fire the property management company.
Manager response:
We're sorry to read you were frustrated with our services, Dean. The homeowner is aware of the leak, and we will address the matter as soon as we have permission to do so. Our property manager will be checking the burners and for any unpleasant odors. Hopefully we can impress you in the future. Thanks!

The Tupfe cabin was the perfect spot to come home to after our long hikes. Especially loved all that the owners put into the cabin. It all blends in such a unique way and tells a great story. Found myself wandering the house, picking up books to read, looking at all the interesting mementos. Super cool! And the good view didn't hurt either.

Tupfe cabin was an excellent space for 2 couples and dogs - great proximity for daily adventures - trails, river and mountains. We never got tired of the view from the living room. Plenty to do in Franconia and the surrounding towns. We would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed staying at this cabin for our honeymoon and it was a great choice. Had a very rustic feel of a classic ski chalet. It was so beautiful there. Only thing missing was the fireplace was off limits due to the drought and the cabin had an old wood smell to it, but that's to be expected at an older mountain cabin.

The view was beautiful and the home entertainingly quirky. Location close to great hiking and good choices of restaurants in nearby towns as well.

I stayed at this cottage for the summer while working in the area. The cottage is very charming, and the view is hard to beat. I loved the ever changing view of the mountains, depending on the weather and the clouds. The location was pretty quiet, and peaceful, but not far out of town.
