Just a really nice place that was very clean and well taken care of. We will be back many times in the future.

We stayed three nights and #19 was perfect. The place was warm and the kitchen was perfectly stocked. We had family and friends over for meals and every pot, pan and utensil needed was there!

Bed was comfortable and the washer/dryer worked great. Fireplace was a nice touch for cold evenings.

The path along the river was short but a nice walk. Unfortunately the pool and sauna were closed due to Covid but they looked nice. Hopefully they are open during our next stay here!

Check in and check out were extremely easy via the Vacasa app and instructions were texted to us. Could not have been any easier!

Nice property, they have updated furniture from on line pictures. Upstairs condo decided to lay new flooring while we were there so pretty noisy. Back patio slider rollers need to be replaced could hardly open the door. Need to stock lighter blankets for bed…. All in all had a nice time!! Thank you!! Enjoyed the netflicks!!

The place was nice for the price. It was hot so the AC was appreciated. Very quiet area. Great if you like golf. The furniture was not great but its a dog friendly place so that is to be expected.

The property was clean, airy and well lit. We arrived during an unusual heat wave. Fortunately this unit has Air Conditioning, many units do not.

Perfect location to disconnect from technology (though we still had Wifi - we pretended we didn't). We were able to enjoy the local sites (Government camp) and outdoors. The pool wasn't going to be open yet, but they (groundskeepers) made it happen since the weather was gorgeous, and it was such a bonus.

Highly recommend.

Shadowhawk was the perfect post-skiing groovy digs. The kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, & tupperware for some delicious tacos & the hand soap smells incredible. The manager was super kind and accommodating as soon as we pulled in. To top if off, they left us popcorn on the kitchen counter to satisfy those late night cravings. Thanks a bunch!

Very comfortable stay with all the amenities you need. The river is very close by and the golf course is right out the back door. Thriftway was right up the street - 3 min drive.

The house has plenty of linens and towels, dishes, pots and pans etc. It was very clean and spacious as well. I’d definitely stay again!

DO NOT RENT THIS UNIT. The living furniture was so cheap and uncomfortable, its obvious the owners are only in this for the money and never stay in the unit themselves. The king bed was the only saving grace of this place; it was comforable.

The straight back side chairs in the living room were threadbare with stuffing visible and at least 40 yrs old. The couch could have come from City Liquidators in Portland and was a cheap pullout, so super uncomfortable to sit on. No cushions on the wood dining room chairs, not placements/table cloth/napkins for the table either. One Duraflame log (we rented in February) and NO MATCHES. Rag rug on kitchen floor had no backing so we slipped on it multiple times.

No bathmats in the bathrooms, no grab bar in the main bath shower and the towel bar came off the wall at one end when I lifted the towel off it. The 1 bdrm had inefficient electric heat (it never made it to 65 degrees, so the space heater in the closet tells that tale). There was a key lock on that door that I accidentally locked while trying to heat the room when we first arrived. Good thing my phone wasn't in there so I could call Vacasa and the CS Rep walked me through getting the key out of the housekeepers lock box. Why have a key lock in a 1 bdrm condo and then NOT PROVIDE it to the guest?! The topper on all this was the folding table they set up on the patio with the 2 chairs you see in the pictures along with another folding chair. CHEAP. UGH.
Manager response:
We are sorry to read you were so unhappy with your accommodations and our services. The homeowner is replacing the living room chairs and a mattress, and we are checking that the bathmats and towel rack are as they should be. Back up heaters have been provided while the older ones are getting replaced. Thank you!

Loved the wood burning fire place and went star gazing on the golf course at night.
Liked the master room(the bed was super comfy)
And it was great for the doggo to be able to go out the back sliding door!

Quaint condo, nice size, excellent location for what we planned to do, hike. If you like to golf, its right across from a golf course. Most everything was fine, but it does need to upgrade its couch, as it was extremely uncomfortable for the price of the stay. Cushions on the kitchen table would be nice. After doing some strenuous hikes, its important to be able to relax comfortably. It was very clean. Temp was very comfortable. Plenty of plants surrounding the rooms so you could open the blinds and still feel as though you are surrounded by plants. There is a TV, but no instructions on how to access any channels, so we had to pay for our prime video to be able to watch anything. Instructions would have been nice. I guess for the price (we ended up paying $554 for three nights once all the fees were included and $20 a night for our dog), we just expected better furniture for relaxing. The furniture was why we didn't give it a 5 star.

The property is quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed the central location to Hood, Hood river, portland, etc. The pool was closed, without notice, and there was no hot tub although one is shown in the property images; this was upsetting.
Manager response:
We apologize for any confusion with the hot tub and hope the compensation offered shows our desire to care for our guests and provide a positive experience. We hope to see you again!
