My family enjoyed the two night stay at Plantation Club 508. We were welcomed with a clean house with all the necessities needed to enjoy our daughters birthdays. Hopefully we can travel back down during the summer and take in all the nearby sights. Thank you Vacasa

Location is good for bike access to either harbor town or beach club. Having bathroom for each bedroom was good. It is a bit dated but was clean overall. However, the carpet bordering the entry tile was covered in gray tape (had been for some time) and the blinds did not function in master bedroom. Management was very quick to respond when notified but indicated owner was going to be on site for those repairs in couple weeks. Understandable for the carpet but the owner should have been required to have the blinds repaired by someone. Other item to be aware is beach club severely limits parking for non-sea pines booking guest - if you want to park there get there before 8 or after 4. Overall would definite stay again.

It needed updating, door repair, blinds need repair, bathroom shower, mattress needs to ne replaced, carpet, cleaners very,very dusty planter in upstairs hallway over all nice visit overall. I would visit again

Great unit! 3 bed, 3 bath. Very clean. Close to lots of things in sea pines. The master bathroom is a little odd with the shower door placement and you can’t get in the shower without closing the door. Not a huge deal if it’s just you but with two people sharing a bathroom was a little tricky.

Vacasa was great. There was an issue with a leak and they handled it immediately.

The villa was in a great location. It could have been cared for a little better and the management company should have included more paper towels and soaps and shampoos. A lot of the dishes were dirty and we had to wash them before using.

I rented 2 villas this year since house was not available. We had no issues in 508 and enjoyed our week there. On the other hand unit 545 had air conditioning issues and several bugs throughout the week. The manager worked hard to address the air issues throughout the week. We feel he did his best. Temp was brought down some except for one bedroom and bathroom that would not cool down. We apprecIated all he did to help, but it was tough a couple of days with the extreme heat.

We’ve been vacationing to HHI in Sea Pines as a family for 12 years. This was our first experience with Vacasa and this home. We unfortunately did not have a good experience.

First, the positives. The appliances were newer and worked very well. The house had plenty of dishes and silverware. The washer and dryer were in good condition. The location was excellent- perfect spot right in the middle of Sea Pines! The Vacasa staff was helpful, and answered all of our calls in a timely fashion, and we called them pretty much daily.

Which brings me to the negatives: when we arrived at the house it was quite warm inside, so we turned down the AC and it seemed to cool off. By the middle of the night, the AC completely stopped working. It took three nights of no AC to get it fixed. I know, first world problem here, but this is also a first world vacation that was to include AC in the heat of a HHI summer. What really upset us about this problem was that it was known prior to our arrival. There was a room air conditioner left in one of the bedrooms, which indicated that something had happened with the last guests. We would’ve appreciated being told the AC was broken prior to driving from Georgia and Ohio for our family vacation. When we did contact Vacasa at 7:00 Sunday morning about the AC, they did have a service tech come out to fix it but it could not be fixed until Tuesday afternoon. Vacasa did bring us 2 box fans, in addition to the room AC, which were helpful. However, we had kids and dogs with us and they had to all sleep downstairs with the AC while the four adults “slept” upstairs with fans. When discussing reimbursement for these nights or other options of places to stay, there were no other homes available and we had to negotiate for two days to get our money returned for the rental fee and booking fee for the three nights without air conditioning.

Meanwhile countless other amounts of money were spent on doing things outside the home- eating, more fans, activities, etc- while the AC was out. Then, to top it off, we didn’t have propane gas in the grill, the sink was clogged and was unable to be used for about 24 hours, and the front door keyless lock died and we were locked out of the home for about 2 hours.

The home was ok. Nothing fancy, but it had space for us and again, it was a great location. The floors and carpet were filthy, though. I never took off my shoes, and my husband mopped the floors himself several times. He even bought a broom and dustpan for the house. Vacasa is not a company I would ever use again or rely on to care for a home. Too many issues and too much time spent on the phone talking to this company. It was quite a disappointment.

The location of this rental is perfect! Place is dated but comfortable and accommodated our family of 7 and our dog. Sea pines is beautiful area and the beach was a 3 minute bike ride. You definitely need bikes as the trails are endless. Outside patio was useless and rusted. Unsafe to use. Gas grill worked but charcoal grill rusted out. WiFi is slow.

There is a pull out sofa which was great! Just needed sheets, did get them on the 2nd day.

Make sure to double check pool code as ours didn’t work and was locked in the pool!!! Never received a call back on that and another guest let us out.

Kitchen is stocked. Things to bring toilet paper, paper towel, cleaning spray, dishwasher, laundry detergent, etc.

Love the storage space out front. Great location in middle of sea pines. HUGE space. It was a lot of room for just our family - so next time I would go if it were less expensive or I had a family(ies) to share it with. The drawer that holds utensils didn’t work well and was annoying for kids. The back furniture is rusted and not useable. The decor is simple, beachy and I enjoyed. Lots of puzzles - kitchen resources were good. New appliances. Jacuzzi tub was so nice yet drain stopper didn’t always work. Pool code vacasa provided was incorrect. Pool right out front was great. I would recommend this place to anyone! Beds were comfy / house was clean. Very happy with our choice and easy check in so thank you!

Relaxing week. Inside everything was clean and well supplied.
Outside trash area was overflowing..... Garbage on the ground around the cans. After making a call to vacasa, trash was picked up on day 2 of our stay.

In spite of the previous reviews about the cleanliness, etc, we found this to be immaculate and well kept. The location is great - walking distance to the Plantation Golf Course and beach club. Really tranquil. Had a plumbing problem with the water heater that we called about which got fixed promptly. Overall, Vacasa was very responsive.

Place needs a bottle of roach spray and probably a pest control treatment if you're squirmish about roaches - to be expected in this climate.

Biggest downside which totally took away from our stay is that the owners only subscribe to 3mbps internet - which in reality never got past 2.4 mbps speed download & 0.5 mbps upload. Since we were working during the week, we had to leave the villa and go to the public library every morning (9 miles away) and stay there until 3pm- which defeats the purpose of paying for this lovely property. We had hopes of taking nice walks during the lunch hour. The final straw: staying up until 1am to try to upload a 3 MB file, we decided to leave early instead of dealing with the non existent internet.

Shannon and everyone we interacted with at Vacasa was lovely and prompt in resolving our plumbing issue. The only thing that would have been nice in the listing is to state how fast the internet connection is - just having internet isn't enough in our age of remote work.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Great location, plenty of space. Each bedroom has its own bathroom & there is a 1/2 bath on main level. Needs some minor maintenance here & there. Outdoor patio furniture could be updated. 2 of the high top chairs are unusable. Overall really enjoyed my stay here.

Good condo in Sea Pines - easily walkable. Unit is good, management company not great, and several things not the cleanest. I brought these up to mgmt on day 1. I received no response.
