The house is located close to one of the lake beaches. The house is spacious and has lots of toys etc. which made my two kids very happy. Lots of deers visit the backyard and my little ones had lot of fun watching them.

Pictures are very accurate. Home could definitely use some modern updating like an actual shower in the master bedroom, but it was clean and very comfortable for our family of five (2 adults, 2 teenagers and a 6 year old). It was very pet friendly too (fenced in deck, doggie door, big pet pillow). There were toys for little children, and beach towels, a cooler and beach chairs for the lake. Wi-fi worked flawlessly and my wife was actually able to get some work done while we were there. The beds were very comfortable. The A/C was super cold (we were there during an apparent heat wave) but the thermostat required a learning curve to operate. We used it as a base to explore Yosemite National Park and it functioned well for that purpose, although the drive was a little tedious (a little over an hour long on very curvy roads). Groveland is a great little town! There is a small but well stocked market (Mar-Val) close by and there are several great places to eat (pizza & burgers). We bought a tri-tip, some corn and potatoes one evening from the market and used the gas grill to have a great home cooked meal. We felt completely safe in this small community. Saw a grey fox one day and many deer every day which was a great bonus. The only hitch in our trip was caused by Vacasa. Upon arriving at the gate, the guard would not let us pass because the Vacasa rep had not given him our names. We had to go back into Groveland, find an actual pay phone at the Iron Door Saloon (we had no cell service) and call the local Vacasa rep to have her give our names to the guard. She apologized and fixed it right away but it should not have been a necessary step, especially after a long trip to get there. I'm rating it as four stars instead of five for lack of modern updates but still a great value.

The house had everything we needed to be comfortable.

This home provided our family with a comfortable space following our daily trips to Yosemite. This worked great for our family of four in providing ample space and comfort.

This property is located in a gated community providing added security. There is a HOA fee for parking of each car per week of $40. This is paid when entering the property gate.

We had really great time staying in this beautiful home on our recent visits to Groveland. House was clean & very well kept. There were Lot of games for kids. We had few hiccups with internet connection but those were resolved immediately. Just one thing which was an issue & it was by the vacasa - they did not inform the security team at pine mountain lake about our arrival so we were stuck for some time & also the parking charges were more than what vacasa told us. We ended up paying more. I wish vacasa had informed it properly.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Sudarshan! We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. We apologize for the issues you had when you arrived and with the cost of parking. The cost is managed by the homeowner's association; however, we have provided your valuable feedback to our local manager to look into this further. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope we can host you again!

Location is amazing. Very close to the public beach of the lake. Short distance to the grocery store and some nice fishing spots (2-4 miles from home).
House has some nice features, like table tennis (ceilings are low in the area with table though), nice TV, karaoke, gas and coal grills, backyard with several distinguished zones, I even found SNES under the TV)
Unfortunately we found couple issues as well: it wasn't the cleanest house we seen - dust, web in corners of bedroom, some candy wrappers under the bed from previous people staying there (my guess), backyard was full of tree debris. Another issues is internet, modem turned off couple times during our stay for 1-5 hours during the day, also we found only one shot glass...
Worth to mention, we have been there during nasty Yosemite fires, so air quality was pretty harm (it's not the disadvantage of the house) - it's possible some issues were caused by that event...
Manager response:
Hi, Sergei! We are so glad you enjoyed the wonderful location of this home and do apologize if housekeeping wasn't as thorough as they should have been. We have followed up with our cleaners, and maintenance will be cleaning up the yard. Thank you!
