The bed in the main room was incredibly comfortable. That was really incredible for a short-term rental. There is ample closet space - though very few drawers/shelves for storage. We stayed for a few days so it was manageable but a longer stay would have been frustrating. It was indeed across the highway from Lionshead - you are not in the village. The 10 minute walk over the highway makes the place feel somewhat isolated - you are not in the mix of the Vail experience. If you want that this is not the place for you. The view off of the deck is of another building (mostly) and the mountain (somewhat). Things that could be cleaned were cleaned but the place is reflecting what we took to be it's 1980's roots (a little old and a lot of gold). The comments about the water pressure in the shower have been mentioned multiple times in previous reviews and still have not been addressed. Take that as you will of any reflection of the concern for the experience of those staying here. We did not have a lot of luggage/gear in our summer trip but the walk to the top of the hill form the parking lot with winter gear could be a challenge. Overall - we're not rushing to rent this place again.

What a wonderful place to stay for a summer visit to Vail! We stayed at this condo while we were in town for the GoPro Mountain Games at Vail. We wanted easy access to Lionshead and Vail Village for all of the activities but didn’t want the cost or the potential noise of staying in either village. This condo was exactly what we needed. The condo complex is the closest one to the pedestrian bridge. Just walk across the parking lot and up a small walkway to the bridge. From the front door directly into Lionshead Village in less than five minutes! Once in Lionshead, you can quickly catch the intown shuttle to Vail Village or enjoy the easy 15 minute walk. The condo itself is large with plenty of space in the main room and both bedrooms. The view from the whole wall of windows in the main room was our favorite part of staying here. Beautiful Aspen trees right outside with views through the trees of several of the ski runs and even a few snow capped mountains in the distance. We enjoyed the view while eating at the large table, sitting on the couch and chairs in the family room, and sitting outside on the patio. I worried that we would not have as much of a view being on the ground floor, but I actually think we had a better view than the upper units as we didn’t have a balcony wall obstructing part of our view. The condo is nicely decorated and felt warm and welcoming. We had everything we needed with comfortable beds and linens. While the appliances might not have been the newest, everything worked fine and we had all we needed. The washer and dryer were useful after enjoying hikes and bike rides. The pool and hot tubs were well maintained and were a nice place to start the day and end the day while looking at the mountains. We needed to call the management company to ask a question, and they were quick to respond with helpful information. If staying here in the winter, we would definitely want to follow the advice of other reviewers and rent/store ski equipment at Lionshead. If we come back to Vail next summer, we will definitely try to book this same condo!

I debated anything from a 3 star review to a 5 star review, and eventually landed on 4. Check in/out simple (door code) Condo is in a great location, you can walk to Lionshead, and a quick drive to Vail Village (or longer walk). It was very quiet when I was there A little TLC and a few upgrades and it would be 5*. Things that need help: Appliances are all from 1994 and show their age. The coffee maker is maybe newer, but old enough that all the labels are worn off, so you just have to push the buttons to see which one turns it on. Everything that could be loose in the house is loose, cabinet and drawer pulls, door knobs, etc. needs an hour with a handyman. Cold water pressure is amazing.. hot water....super low. Would I stay here again...Yes

The location is prime, with great walkable access to Lionshead, short drive to grocery stores. The grounds are well kept, with flowers that invited hummingbirds to hang around. The unit itself is showing its age, with a lot of minor maintenance issues.

Apartment was a little dated but very functional. Similar to other places in Vail form back in the 80s. It was clean, comfortable and had everything you really need. The only real complaint was the very low hot water pressure in the showers. For a cold winter this definitely needs to be improved. Note that building D is the one farther from the crossing bridge. But the walk was fine. You do have some stairs to carry your luggage from the parking lot so you need to take that into account. On the plus side it's on the lower level so no need for additional stairway once you get there.
