Waterfront Fishing Lodge w/ Dock, Yard, Grill, & WiFi - On Inlet Near Marshwalk

The Murrells Inlet Fishing Lodge sits among hundred-year-old Live Oaks and looks out onto the beautiful inlet. Imagine waking up and enjoying your first cup of coffee while listening to the sounds of nature and admiring the view from your front porch rocking chair. This rental is just steps from the seafood capital of South Carolina, Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk, a half-mile wooden boardwalk along the natural saltwater estuary. With new appliances, furniture, and bedding, this is the perfect home base whether you've come to fish, golf, or just unwind. The culinarily-inclined can showcase their skills in the well-equipped full kitchen or host a barbecue with the gas grill and cooker in the yard. Then, dine al fresco at the 12-foot picnic table. If you are cooking your fresh catch, you can use the fish cleaning station at the adjacent Perry's Bait & Tackle. Their staff can even help arrange fishing charters and boat rentals or share their expert advice on what's biting and how to catch it. Endless activities are available from your semi-private dock. At the end of a fun-filled day, come home and enjoy a movie on one of the wall-mounted flatscreen TVs in the living area or one of the bedrooms.

The LAB Shack has four bedrooms, and the adjoining E-Fishin-Sea Studio has a separate entrance with another full bath, full kitchen, and sleeping space. Both feature new appliances, furniture, and bedding.

Fill your lungs with the fresh inlet air and take in all of nature's beauty from the comfort of our waterfront fishing lodge.

Perfect spot, perfect house! We will be back
Mark F. Jan 2023
This place is amazing, everything is in walking distance. Only complaint we had, which someone else mentioned in a previous review was the floors were very dirty. For a $326.48 cleaning fee for a three day stay we were very disappointed. It seemed as though the floor had never been moped. it might have been swept (a little) but not mopped. We would have mopped it ourselves but there was no mop available for $326.48 we left it like we found. Nor was there any propane for the grill so we had to purchase a full tank of propane to cook for 30 minutes and left the full bottle there.
Manager response:
Thank you for your honest review, Mark, and we are happy you enjoyed your time in our home, regardless of the issues you encountered. We sincerely apologize for the cleanliness concerns you encountered during your stay with us. Our team of housekeepers takes pride in their cleanliness standards, as it is a top priority service we provide for every guest before check-in. We are disappointed that you did not report to us during your stay, as we would have been happy to assist. We have passed your feedback to our housekeeping team to be aware of your concerns. Also, we are sad you had to purchase a full tank of propane to cook your meal, and we would have provided one if notified. We will continually work with our local staff and homeowner to make necessary upgrades, and we hope to have the opportunity to impress you in the future!

The house was spacious and extremely clean and comfortable!! We were there with 4 couples and our daughter. Everyone had their own room and bathroom. Great location! We loved sitting on the porch overlooking the marsh!!

We loved the dock, backyard, grilling area, great room, and decor! So much fun!! We took our kayaks, which was perfect at this house!! Location was great and close to everything, and not too far from the beach!!

House was clean, convenient to our needs. Very relaxing.

The house was great. It was spacious, clean, had everything we needed. Horseshoes, fire pit, grill and boiler all in the backyard. Fishing right off the dock, and friendly staff at the baitshop. location was fantastic with several restaurants and bars with live entertainment within walking distance.

It was laid back, clean, and relaxing. The grill needs updated, the kitchen faucet had very little pressure, as did one shower. The dock was very fishable during weekdays without much interference, but the weekend was totally different. Boats would tie up to the dock to go get bait from the shop and would pretty much disregard your lines or that you were fishing and not give you time to reel up and then have to cut your lines when they would get wrapped in the boats propeller..or more than one boat would tie up and leave no room to fish. Maybe if the dock was longer or the abandoned boat that was there was gone it wouldn't be so bad. But all in all it's in a perfect location and peaceful and private!
Manager response:

Amazing location, gorgeous views. However, we were greeted by stepping in dog poop and not realizing it until we stepped inside. No biggie but, while cleaning the floors they weren’t as clean as I would have expected upon arrival.
The dishwasher also didn’t wash the dishes. We noticed soap tablet undissolved at the bottom, which meant we hand washed all the dishes before use. The 2 front rooms were extremely warmer than the back of the house, just put those who are cold nature in those 2 (king beds).
Overall it was a great way to spend Thanksgiving.
I would also recommend if staying for more than a few days to bring more paper towels and TP. However, the kitchen and outside grilling area had everything needed!

We loved the beautiful home, the fishing dock ,and location to near the Marshwalk. Perry’s bait shop employees really helped us with preparing out catch. They went above and beyond to assist in any way they could. We are already planning to book another visit :) Loved it !

We loved the fishing lodge! Right behind the bait shop, it was very convenient. We fished every morning and evening off the dock, and caught fish and crabs. So fun! The lodge is just a short drive to the beach. We walked the marshwalk, and walked to restaurants, shopping and ice cream. The lodge is very roomy and the open floor plan is great for families. Overall, it was an excellent stay. Clean, newly refurbished, had everything we needed.
Manager response:

The house was impeccable and in the best location at Murrells inlet. My children had the best time crabbing, shrimping and fishing by the dock while my 98yr old father enjoyed watching them on the patio sitting on the rocker. Lots of relaxing things to do. One can take a stroll at the nearby Marshwalk or take some late lunch or dinner at neighboring restaurants ( one restaurant after another). All you have to do is pick and choose which restaurant you want for today, tomorrow or the next day, that is if you don’t want to grill or cook at the house. No need to worry about the airconditioning, mattresses, or bathrooms. The house has the best by far with regards to these matters. Kyle from Perry’s bait shop was very helpful as well. He gave my son some tips on crabbing and fishing.
Overall, we enjoyed staying in the house in Murrells Inlet and so will you.

Perfect location if you are staying off the beach. Walking distance to MANY wonderful restaurants!
James L. May 2021
The house was amazing! Great views of the water. Perrys bait and tackle staff were so kind and friendly! They helped us with fish info, bait and local area information. You have at least 5 restaurants within walking distance, which was awesome. Thank you for an incredible week! We will definitely stay there again!

The spaciousness and decor of the home. The beds were quite comfortable. The back porch with the comfy rockers and view of the marsh were awesome.
