Riverfront home with pond, patio, deck, and kitchen + kitchenette - near trails

With its five bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, and a main level consisting of a kitchen and a kitchenette, plus enough elbow room to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests, this home is perfect for large families and get-togethers with old friends. You'll love having the river right behind the home, especially when you get to enjoy your morning coffee while pulling up trout just steps from the back deck, and the kids will have a blast swimming in the pond. Inside, the downstairs area enjoys two bedrooms (each with a queen-size bed) and a propane fireplace. The main level has lots of comfortable furniture in the living room, plus a large flatscreen TV, and a fireplace. You'll also have plenty of space to cook in with the kitchen and kitchenette featuring two stoves, two refrigerators, and two dining areas with tables. Upstairs, you'll find a main bedroom with a queen-size bed, a full bath, and a sitting area, perfect for a little quiet reading time. Outside you'll have decks with mountain and river views to enjoy your al-fresco meals on. This home enjoys a two-car garage and there is plenty of space for ATVs and trailers, and the house sits on three acres of land, so the kids will have lots of grassy space to run around on while you're here, plus the Rio Grande is right behind the home, so everyone will have plenty of outdoor fun during hotter months.

Loved the view but wish the place was cleaner including bedding

The views from the property are fantastic. The furnishings are well loved but functional and there's plenty of room for large groups. I would book it again!

Very peaceful and quiet location! Relaxing place to sit outside and listen to the South Fork of the Rio Grande with a mountain on opposite side of river (instead of housing). The kitchen has plenty of space. There is an extra alcove with another refrigerator, which came in handy. The master suite was very spacious. The room with twin beds only accommodates children. The mattresses in the bedroom with two beds needs to be replaced badly. We had a group of 9 (2 kids and 7 adults) and it was just right. The home needs one more outside trash receptacle - especially for large groups! We would stay there again!

The home was clean and a great location but we were disappointed with several items. The dishwasher didn't work, the grill handle was broken and dangerous, the wash clothes looked like rags, there were only a few dish towels (not enough to handle the amount of dishes we had to do for the twelve people), several frying pans had broken handles and very scratched Teflon, the trash was over flowing outside the home without adequate room to add our trash and the list continues. With all the added fees we were over $550 per night. The basics listed should be upgraded.
Manager response:
Hi, Christine! Thank you for staying with us. We apologize your stay had any disappointments and appreciate the opportunity to correct them. The dishwasher drain has been cleared out, grill handle has been repaired, and kitchen inventory is being checked for replacement. We hope you will return someday!

This home was spacious for our group, plenty of room for gathering with lots of rooms for guest privacy.

Great place to stay! I definitely recommend it. If we go back next year, will try to stay there again!!!

Loved the house - it was perfect for our teenage kids - they had their own downstairs area - we had the middle floor for family time - and an upper floor for parents. and the deer!! nature was at our doorsteps every morning and evening...and we were in walking distance to the store and restaurants. LOVED it - the pink carpet didn't even matter....

We had a wonderful time at this house! The river is right there for fishing and it really close to town. The accommodations were perfect for our group with several beds and plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals. We could not make the dishwasher work so we did all the dishes the old fashioned way. The shower in the small bathroom gets very cold or very hot when someone else uses the water anywhere in the house so be prepared. It could use a good dusting. Overall we are very pleased and had a really great time! I would recommend renting this place for a large group.
