Oceanside home in Corolla w/ private pool & hot tub

Conveniently located directly next to the beach access, Ocean Raves sits on a large lot and is just minutes away from shopping, dining, and entertainment including The Currituck Lighthouse. You'll enjoy lounging next to your own private pool or have a refreshing drink at the newly added poolside tiki bar. The hot tub, located on the pool deck, provides the perfect place for late-night stargazing. The house sits directly next to the beach access walkway and you can be lounging on the beach within minutes!

Ground Level: The sixth bedroom (available 2023), a full bath, a rec room with a foosball table, a sitting area with a TV, and a refrigerator.

Mid Level: This floor is home to four coastally appointed bedrooms. There is a main bedroom, another room with a king, a room with two singles, and a room with a bunk set (full over full) There's a full bath in the hallway and the laundry room as well. All bedrooms have direct deck access to enjoy the sights, sounds, and ocean breezes.

Top Level: The great room provides lots of natural light and ample space for the whole crowd to spread out. There's a nautically inspired living area with a large, L-shaped sofa, fireplace, large TV, and access to the east side decks to enjoy the views! The kitchen features granite counters and stainless steel appliances and has a neighboring dining area seating eight with seating for four more at the kitchen bar. Guests will love the main bedroom with a two-person jetted tub and deck access. Rounding out this home is a half bath.

Amenities: 14 x 28 Private unheated saltwater pool, hot tub, multiple TVs, Nintendo Wii, stereo, electric fireplace, baby equipment (Including a crib), WiFi, basketball goal, volleyball court, poolside tiki bar, outdoor shower, and a gas park grill. Beach Access: Approx. 500 ft. - Directly next to the beach access walkway.

This home was by far the best of all the homes we have stayed at in our 10 years of vacationing in OBX. Looking forward to staying here again next year.

House is in nice location right next to beach access. Kitchen is well stocked. The house has some cleaning needs...floor was very dusty upon arrival, the couch in the living room needs cleaning...it's visibly dirty, as is the armchair next to it. VACASA gave us the wrong entry code for the door. Sheets were not big enough for king beds. Our checkout was Monday morning; on Sunday afternoon a pool guy showed up (we weren't at the house) and he cut all of our inflatable pool toys and threw everything away... goggles, sink toys etc we found them all in the trash. We reached out to VACASA and we have yet to hear how they will compansate for everything. VACASA said they will reach out to local management and get back to us with a resolution....still waiting to hear back. House is ok, service from app and local management is sub par.

This is a beautiful spacious home, with room for everyone and patios on every level! Our kids had so much fun running around playing hide and seek at night and we loved the open living/dining area. The pool deck is great, we spent hours out there! The walk to the beach is less than 5 minutes! Would highly recommend this home!

4 stars are for the home, not our experience..,
Before I booked in January of 2021, I inquired about baby equipment. I was told that if you see it in the photos, it is included. Before our trip, I emailed multiple times and called a few times to confirm the availability of a crib (it is shown in a bedroom photo). I was told “no crib” every time, in spite of the info I was given in January. So…I rented a crib. We arrived and, sure enough, there was a crib as shown in the photos.
Ocean Raves is a lovely home, but the management company isn’t local and it took phone calls on Mon-Tues-Weds to finally get someone to look at the AC. The bedroom level was 78 degrees. Unacceptable! It was finally repaired on Thursday. Vacasa did offer a credit for our inconvenience, but it certainly would have been preferable to have agents with a knowledgable of the house’s amenities and a more responsive maintenance team.
The VRBO owner of Ocean Raves is being disadvantaged by their management company, because their home is very comfortable and the beach is easily accessible.

This house was a perfect location. Close to the boardwalk, private pool (trees surrounding the fencing), comfortable and clean!

This was a fantastic beach vacation home. Would definitely stay here again. 2 masters, another king bed then full size bunks (plus 2 twins that we didn’t use) was perfect for us! Amazing comfy couch. Fantastic kitchen stocked with anything you could need. The pool and hot tub and tiki bar were so fun! Walk to the beach wasn’t too bad but man the stairs were a killer carrying all the canopies and coolers and chairs 😆

Only reasons I didn’t give it 5 stars: the clothes dryer was awful - took 3-4 hours to dry one load; the grill was really bad; and the Ice maker in fridge didn’t work.
