Allergy-Free Lakefront Home with Private Dock & Beach + Water Views, Firepit, AC

Head down a scenic gravel road to find this completely-remodeled, allergy-free, lakefront home nestled in the trees. This gorgeous villa is the picture of luxury and convenience, with hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the back deck and the private dock. Summer visitors will love spending time on the private beach (on the private and warm side of the lake!) and taking the provided kayaks and stand-up paddleboards out for lazy afternoons on the lake's sparkling water!

Inside, you'll have 3,000 square feet of living space spanning three well-appointed levels, perfect for families and get-togethers with friends. Enjoying a circular layout around the staircase, the first level is open, spacious, and an ideal setting for older kids to hang out in, with a dining table, a private pool table, and a comfortably furnished entertainment area with a mounted flatscreen TV and a gas stove. At the far end, you'll find a bathroom featuring a walk-in shower and a vessel sink, as well as the home's laundry room housing the private washer and dryer. The lower level also has access to a private patio boasting a comfy hammock and just steps away from the pergola-shaded dock and the home's 120-foot stretch of private beach.

Head upstairs to the second-level living area featuring access to the furnished deck, a grand entertainment space crowned by a handsome gas fireplace, and lots of natural light cascading in through huge floor-to-ceiling windows. The full kitchen is equipped with everything you need, from ample granite countertops to stainless steel appliances that include a French door refrigerator, to turn out tonight's home-cooked meal for everyone to enjoy. The breakfast bar has seating for seven and you can serve up to 10 guests over the wood dining table. Hot weather meals are best when enjoyed al fresco on the furnished deck, and you'll even have a private gas grill available to throw a little char on today's freshly caught fish. Let the dishwasher knock out all the dirty plates while you spread out some board games, stream your favorite movies and shows, or enjoy a good movie plucked from the DVD library. At the far end of the second level, the front-of-house mudroom has a comfy bench and plenty of hooks to hang your winter-wet clothes on.

Upstairs, you'll find a lofted sitting area with a private library and a Papasan chair. There is also a spacious sleeping area that enjoys an A-frame ceiling, a skylight, and a bathroom with a jetted tub, a walk-in shower, and a skylight. Your summer guests will love the home's central AC during the day and the firepit for those evening s'mores sessions. When you're not splashing around in the lake, challenge a friend to a game with the driveway's basketball hoop or a game of cornhole. If you bring your own boat, you can put it in the water at the community launch and tie it up at the dock during your stay. The dock is the perfect place to enjoy lake serenity with your first cup of morning coffee or a glass of evening wine. Have a little work to do during your stay? The home's free WiFi is provided by a wireless internet service provider, making working and studying from the lake possible.

The house was spotless, soap, shampoo, etc, all good. The view amazing, fire pit was a blast. Great fishing trip on Lake Anna.

A true getaway for my wife and I, we would rent here again tomorrow. Both interior and exterior are modern and well thought out. Plenty of open space and everything was as advertised. We rented here primarily for the views and immediate lake access and it did not disappoint. Be aware there are only a few local stores and they close early evening. If arriving at night, plan to bring everything you need for the first night or find a stop before you get to town for gas/food/firewood.

Beautiful home. Spacious, clean, well-stocked, primo location. Needed to consult with the property manager a few times and she was totally responsive. PS - kayaks and paddle boards were awesome and never caught so many fish on a trip before.

We had a nice stay Labor Day weekend. The house was cute and clean inside. The outside could have used some cleaning off. Lots of water toys for kids and good location on private side. The worst part unfortunately was the bed mattresses were just really uncomfortable, so bad that no one got good nights sleep which is the reason behind only 3 stars. The driveway back to the house is gravel and a tight turn into the house for boats.

Our stay at Hidden Gem was lovely. The house was beautiful, tastefully decorated and had every small detail you could need. The kitchen is fully stocked with every utensil and small kitchen appliance you need. There are a small variety of spices that have accumulated. I had brought laundry detergent, dish soap, garbage bags etc with me but they had them here as well. The house is clean and has plenty of linens. As mentioned previously the only downside was the openness of the loft and basement. My daughter has little ones and you could hear them throughout. Really no worries if you have a sound machine or app on your phone. I felt you still had plenty of privacy. I had never stayed at Lake Anna before this week and the house is on the warm side I quickly learned what this was all about. The water was exceptionally warm and the days were very hot so not a lot of refreshment from lake. I bet it is amazing in the fall. I would definitely stay here again if it was available. Also I needed to reach out for a couple of questions and the response was quick! Thank you for a great vacation with my family.

Enjoyed the dock/pier/beach/kayaks/SUP/corn hole/basket ball/pool table. Kitchen very well stocked with every appliance/utensil/gadget needed. Plenty of seating! Gorgeous view of the lake!

We had a great time at this place. Context and amenities are definitely 5-star. As this is a newer place on the rental market, we'll provide some additional details below.

The house is situated in the southwest corner of Lake Anna. There is a nice sandy entry. The water slopes gently down - probably about 4' deep at the edge of the dock so very kid-friendly. The kayaks (3 single and 1 double) and paddleboards are great! Plenty of adult life jackets. It is near the end of a cove so very little boat traffic but not far out into a wider branch for those looking to go skiing/tubing. For those who haven't been on the 'warm side' of the Lake, the temperature is somewhat unreal, to the degree that it can feel warm against your skin.

The house has lovely views of the lake. Much of the view is (currently) undeveloped which gives it a nice, more secluded feel. There are two bedrooms on the main floor. The other two are less traditional and really the only downside of the place. The upstairs is a lovely master suite but is not separated from the rest of the house so sound and light penetrate, making it hard for those who are light or sound-sensitive (and perhaps a little odd for master suite when you have a full house). The fourth bed is in the basement and similarly not separated from the rest of the basement area (which in turn is open to the main floor). So not much privacy if there is desire to make use of the tv/couches/pool table in the basement area.

The kitchen is nice and stocked about average for a house-rental. Good selection of plates and cups. Cookware and bakeware is in good shape and reasonable selection. Great collection of (sharp!) knives. If you're cooking/baking something special, you may need to bring it. There are no residual ingredients (salt, sugar, oil, etc) at least as of yet, so bring all you need to cook.

The fire pit is very nice though, to be clear, firewood isn't provided. You can get a bundle for $6 at the nearby Country Store.

We had a great trip to Tim's, for food, mini-golf, and ice cream.

Lastly, major shout out to the Vacasa customer service. We had a few maintenance issues (some standard, some not) and had very prompt responses and made every effort to take care of us. Definitely what made it a 5-star stay.

Great location and enjoyed the stay. Modern secluded house the kids enjoyed a lot. Internet patchy if need to rely on. Otherwise great place.

Plenty of Activities, VERY clean home, we enjoyed it.

My family really enjoyed the stay at Hidden Gem. The property was clean and very well kept. The community was quiet consisting of neighborhood traffic only. The water was warm and we enjoyed the dock/beach area while taking advantage of the provided kayaks. The life jackets were in great condition and there was even a couple sand buckets for the kids to enjoy playing on the beach with.

The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and everything else you would need during your stay. We are used to bringing our own toiletries, linens, preferred kitchen appliances and other items we would need to be comfortable during our stay In rental homes. If we had left them home, I would have been comfortable using all the items provided. We even brought our own fire wood for the pit, but they also provided a couple of bundles for initial use.

There is a pontoon boat at the dock, but not available to rent. It would be awesome if it was available as an option to rent since the house is located on the private side of the lake. If you are able to have a boat delivered, you will need to tie it to the dock for overnight storage.

This home is also located about 10 - 15 minutes from the grocery store, 15 minutes to Pleasants Landing beach, and ~40 minutes to Kings Dominion using back roads with no traffic. Perfect location, if you ask me.

We liked the location. The House was beautiful, well stocked, clean and very comfortable. Lots of amenities and lots to do. The kayaks were great, and the private beach was enjoyed by the little ones. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Lake Anna for a vacation.

Hidden Gem lives up to the name! It is beautiful inside and out. Kids enjoyed the pool table, dock/kayaks, and beach front. Home was clean, furnished, and had everything you needed to sit back and enjoy. Secluded area with a lovely porch view. Our family would definitely return.

The house was one of the cleanest rentals I have ever been in, newly renovated, and beautifully decorated. It has amazing views of the water. The beach entry into the water was a huge hit with my children, and we really enjoyed relaxing by the huge fire pit. We will definitely be back!

This house has everything, a lovely new kitchen, large dining area, plenty of gathering spaces, bathrooms, and sleeping accommodations.

I spent a great weekend here enjoying the view of the lake (it’s winter so we’ll definitely be back to get on the lake) and relaxing in this beautiful home.

The home is secluded and quiet, perfect escape.
