We have stayed at Palmilla properties many times in the past few years. Over 10 times if I had to guess. The fees and lack of service for the fees you pay for have us looking elsewhere. Vacasa has never addressed any of our concerns and always responds in writing but never shows up to fix any issues. We know going in, that we are on our own. We have rented places at Palmilla several times a year for several years and have never had a positive experience with Vacasa. I wish Palmilla would consider using a different management company as it has truly affected our decision to rent there. We looked at purchasing a place last year and reconsidered, partly because of that reason. This time, Vacasa called and advised we had the back patio door open. They said someone was walking around inspecting the property(creepy) and asked us to close the door. So strange we might want the ocean breeze at a beach home. Funny they apparently walk properties unannounced but never respond when there are issues brought to their attention. Again, this property is beautiful but all of the added fees associated with the management company are exhausting.

The location is right on the golf course so if you're a golf lover, it was great for watching others play and staying by the quiet greens. We went spring break week so the traffic/police cars were rowdy at night but on any other week, it's peaceful. The layout of the house was great for our two families so accommodated us well. We had 5 kids and 4 adults and it fit us comfortably.
