Three-Story Condo w/Free WiFi, Gas Fireplace, Shared Hot Tubs, Heated Pool, Gym

This four-bedroom four-bathroom condo is spread out over three levels and has been entirely remodeled with hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, new carpeting, kitchen cabinetry, grey quartz countertops, and all new furniture! You will not find a nicer retreat in the Phoenix complex and your location is a stone’s throw away from everything Steamboat has to offer. It features a top-floor main retreat and a private guest lock-off on the lowest level with its own kitchenette and private entrance.

If members of your family are going to be in ski school, the meeting place is also located right next to the gondola, so it is very easy to drop your kids off in the morning and enjoy some turns without the little ones in tow. Wild Plum grocery store, mountainside dining, shopping, and base area events and concerts are all just a few steps away. The complex also includes an outdoor heated pool and two shared hot hubs. You can also forget about scraping the snow and ice off your windshield with a one-car heated garage and additional outdoor covered parking. The attached garage on the ground floor offers plenty of room to store your skis and snowboards in the winter or bikes and golf clubs in the summer.

The open floor plan on the main level allows you to move freely among the kitchen, dining area, and extra-large living room with high vaulted ceilings and exposed wooden beams, gas fireplace accented by large floor to ceiling metal panels, super comfortable sectional sofa, and a private balcony accessed off the living room. The fully equipped kitchen will be a welcome site for the cook in your family with a separate dining area with a wooden table that seats eight along with a large center island with additional bar seating. When your meal is complete, your group is free to watch a movie or catch the big game on the large 55-inch flatscreen TV in the living room. You are also free to finish that favorite novel or plan the next day’s adventures in front of the gas fireplace. You can even send the kids to their room where they can be entertained with their own TV or to the clubhouse area too for a game of pool! If you need to check up on work during your stay, there is free high-speed wireless internet access so you can make your employer “think” you are still working hard by answering a few emails.

After you decide to retire for the evening and rest your muscles from a day on the slopes or a hike in the mountains, the main bedroom retreat is located on the top floor includes a king-size bed, wall to wall cabinetry, vaulted ceilings, flat-panel TV, and a private en-suite with walk-in shower, double vanity and even a heated towel bar. Or, perhaps you would like to walk next door to soak your sore muscles in one of the two outdoor hot tubs while watching the stars in the clear sky, and take advantage of the heated changing rooms and sauna.

Two other bedrooms are located on the main level with the first having two sets of bunk beds (twin over twin)and a flatscreen TV. The other bedroom next door has a tufted wingback queen bed. The fourth bedroom on the ground floor is a stand-alone efficiency unit with its own kitchenette, dining area, private bathroom, and a queen bed. A full-size washer and dryer can also be easily accessed off the hallway leading to this private guest lock-off.

When you leave, our goal is to have you dreaming about the days spent exploring Steamboat’s mountains and valleys and telling everyone back home how incredible your stay was in our wonderful mountain home! And if you just happen to feel the curse of the Yampa valley calling you back, you will always have a place to stay!

Clubhouse amenities will be available for use within the following hours: Hot Tub & Pool facilities will be open from 10 am to 8 pm, Gym facilities will be accessible from 8 am to 8 pm, and our Clubhouse Game Room will be accessible from 8 am to 8 pm.

Parking Notes: Each residence has access to a one-car garage. Guests are permitted one additional covered parking spot but must display the parking permit furnished by the front desk visibly on their windshield. Covered parking for secondary vehicles is first come, first served. The height of covered parking is limited to a maximum of 8.5ft. No trailers are allowed. Guests are welcome to utilize both the 100s and the 200s parking lots. Parking along Apres Ski Way is not permitted.

The stay at Phoenix 112 was full of many positives for our family. Nicki, at The Phoenix front desk, was helpful, full of suggestions, positive and everything one wants as the first face vacationers talk with. She remained calm, kind and pleasant even when swamped
with vacationers and phone calls.

The condo is excellently located. The kitchen is well stocked and the condo itself is updated. My rating reflects the fact that the bedroom in the downstairs (the lockout area) has a bed with a mattress that should be replaced and a frame that feels unstable. Getting a descent nights sleep seems a minimum requirement and the mattress itself is lumpy. Never have I felt anything like it! I did not inform the front desk because short of purchasing a new bed I did not see how this was to be rectified. But - had it a different frame and mattress my rating for the condo would be 4.5-5.0. This room also requires a comfortable chair.

The bedroom with the Queen bed and the primary bedroom were fine. I thought the bunk beds were what one expects and they worked well for the children and were a quantum leap better than the bed in the lockout room for me. My husband, however, was seriously sleep deprived.

Other members in the family - not in this bedroom - would rate the condo 4-5.

This was a first-class condo conveniently located a few hundred yards from the gondola base which provided us easy access to skiing each morning head back to the condo afterward. The condo was well appointed with many conveniences, appliances and very comfortable for 6 adult men on a boys` ski trip. We appreciated the flexibility to ski on our day of departure and store gear in the garage. Brad was very helpful in putting this all together at a reasonable price. The condo has most kitchen things you would need. Beds and pillows were comfortable and towels were very nice. Skiing was great and restaurants we went to were great. The condo has been beautifully updated and is well stocked. There was plenty of Room for two families with kids. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals and had plenty of utensils and glasses. The upstairs master suite & en-suite is spacious and so smartly designed. It was a pleasure to come “home” to after a busy day in town or on the slopes. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Location was a short walk to the gondola and the shuttle would pick up for door to door service. Owner was very accessible and responsive. The only issue which prevented a five star review is the beds. The beds are thin & uncomfortable. The bed in the downstairs apartment was particularly lumpy and saggy. The location is good and the condo has been recently renovated, which was very nice and it was very clean. We would like to make a few suggestions to make this condo even better: Beds are uncomfortable - we recommend upgrading mattresses, adding additional covers/pillows along with extra lighting for guests that are trying to work - the lighting at the kitchen table is low lighting. Also, a desk/chair area in the master bedroom would be nice for people needing to work. More towels are needed. And, mirrors need to be installed over the dresser areas in the bedrooms, and a make-up mirror in the bathrooms attached to the wall. The master bedroom is a loft (overlooks the living area/kitchen) - it would be nice if this could be private. The shuttle service was awesome!
