Large Deck & Yard - Steps from Downtown, Walk to Beach

Enjoy access to one of Martha's Vineyard's most desirable neighborhoods at this four-bedroom Edgartown home, a refined island escape with an elegant interior, an expansive yard and deck, and an ideal location near the center of town.

This classic two-level home sits on a quiet and spacious tree-lined property, just half a mile from restaurants, shops, and galleries in downtown Edgartown. You'll also be half a mile from the Chappy Ferry to Chappaquiddick Island, one mile west of Fuller Street and Lighthouse Beaches, three miles from Bend-in-the-Road Beach, and four miles north of Katama Beach.

With hardwood floors, recessed lighting, and plenty of windows letting in the sunlight, the living room is an open social space that leads out to the deck. Come home from a day at the beach to curl up with a good book in the window seat, play a board game by the gas fireplace, or have an evening Netflix marathon on the flatscreen cable TV.

Wake up each morning to prepare breakfast and coffee in the full kitchen, where you can read the paper at the bar counter, catch up with your kids in the sunny dining space, and simply load the dishwasher to take care of the clean-up.

Spend your days walking down to Lighthouse Beach, returning home each afternoon to fire up the gas grill, eat lunch at the patio table, and watch your children play tag in the yard. There's also an outdoor shower to keep the sand outdoors. A private washer/dryer is conveniently located off the kitchen.

With four bedrooms and three full bathrooms, this Edgartown home will comfortably sleep as many as nine guests. The spacious master bedroom has a queen-size sleigh bed, a private sitting area, and an en-suite bathroom with a stall shower, large walk-in closet and a luxurious jetted bathtub.

You'll also find one guest room with a king-sized bed, one bedroom with a double bed, and the fourth bedroom with two double beds. A third single bed is a futon on wheels and can be moved to several locations. (Please note, that the fourth bedroom is a windowed nook divided from the hallway by an attractive room divider. It is a perfect space for children or single adults.)

Additional amenities include WiFi and a second-floor balcony off the master bedroom that overlooks the deck and yard.

As one of the oldest and most sought-after communities in all of New England, Edgartown offers an abundance of history, charm, and access to the island's most beloved landscapes. Head four miles south to Katama Beach, a three-mile-long barrier beach known for its excellent surf and protected salt pond.

And with the Chappy Ferry dock just half a mile away, guests can easily spend a day (or several) on neighboring Chappaquiddick Island, exploring the tranquil Cape Poge Wildlife Refuge, driving out to the scenic Cape Poge Lighthouse, and swimming and sunbathing at peaceful East Beach.

Experience the very best of Martha's Vineyard - you'll never want to leave this lovely Edgartown home!

Spacious, comfortable home, kitchen could use some updating.
Manager response:
We are so glad that you had a comfortable visit, Marilyn. We appreciate your feedback about the kitchen and hope to host you again very soon.

When we first got there the house smelled of old seafood. But the cleaner was still in the house cleaning after check in. The kitchen counter is tile/grout and the grout is very dirty in need of a deep cleaning. The bedspread had what looked like blood on it, sheets are rough but the bed in the master is comfortable. After loading all the groceries into the fridge we noticed that it wasn’t working (5hours later) and had to throw away a lot of food and buy new food. The towel rack in the master bath fell off the wall, was missing a screw. The blinds to the balcony are broken and you have to told them up in order to open and close the door. This could be a nice rental with some deep cleaning and updating especially the drapes and lamps in the master. The furniture in the master could also use a cleaning or replacing. They should stock hand soap/dish soap, toilet paper and salt. There is no salt shaker in the house but there are 5 pepper shakers. There was no dish soap but a tiny bit of watered down hand soap which didn’t last long. The yard and deck are great! We also loved that the shed had boogie boards & beach chairs. It also had bikes available.
Manager response:
Hello Maria, we appreciate your feedback. While no issues were reported during your stay, we sincerely apologize that there was an unpleasant smell and the home wasn't properly cleaned for you. We have addressed these concerns with our home manager and housekeeping staff and will make sure they are corrected before our next renters. We stock our homes with an initial supply of travel-size toiletries, paper products, and detergents, and we are sorry to hear this wasn't the case for your stay. We hope we can host you again for a much more enjoyable experience.

This Edgartown home surpassed our expectations. It was comfortable, spacious, and beautifully appointed. The location was perfect. It is conveniently located and just a few minutes from from the main part of town, including restaurants, shopping, grocery store, bus stop, churches, and so much more. We loved our stay, highly recommend this home, and would definitely return.

My family and I had a great week on Martha’s Vineyard. This house is located in a quiet neighborhood, only a short walk to the restaurants, bars and shops in downtown Edgartown. The house and gardens are very well kept. I highly recommend staying at the Pine Street Haven.

My family loved it!

The house is very nicely appointed and bright and clean. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us! There were going to be 8 of us and even then, it would have been just fine.
We did have trouble reaching VACASA by telephone for a couple of things but once reached, they were most accommodating.

The location of this house is great. It is a 15 minute walk from the harbor and shopping and a short drive from the beach. The house is very roomy. There was plenty of room to spread out or be together as a family. Very nice deck and bbq area. Very comfortable. We would definitely rent this house again.

As a long time dream of visiting Martha's Vinyard, my husband and I chose this home based on the location, pictures and price. We did not expect to arrive to a far more beautiful home for our dream vacation spot as we did at this beautiful home. Exploring the island and the friendliest people truly was a dream come true. Coming home to such a beautiful home topped it all off. Usually on vacations I like to get up early and explore the surroundings. But this home made me want to wake up late, and come back to it after a fun day enjoying the sights. We came during the off season, slightly cold, and sundown occurs about 4pm. Some businesses were closed for the season. However, many stores and restaurants are still open. No traffic, friendly people, and so very much to do made this time of the year and this location a vacation of a lifetime. Thank you Marthas Vinyard, for the amazing hospitality and preservation of such a beautiful island with great history. And thank you Vacasa and the owner of this home for opening your home to us. My dream vacation came true.

We rented this house for a long weekend for my father's 60th birthday and it was wonderful. We had 8 adults and one infant. Everyone slept comfortably and we very much enjoyed the large living room. Downtown Edgartown was a close walk and I can only imagine how wonderful the patio is to enjoy in warmer weather. Great stay!

The property located on Pine Street in Edgartown is in the perfect location. It is close to everything one could meet for a great vacation on the Vineyard. It is only a $12 cab ride to downtown and also within walking distance. The home is haps very clean and we were extremely pleased with the condition of the house
