Lovely lakefront gem with private dock, large deck, & free WiFi - dog-friendly

It doesn't get better than Porch in the Pines when it comes to lakefront seclusion, so make your way to Eagle River and make the best memories with loved ones today! This 1700 square foot lake home boasts a private dock, a half-acre of wooded land level to the water, two kayaks to paddle out on calm waters, and a stunning deck perfect for sipping a morning coffee or evening glass of wine in the crisp air. Take advantage of the close proximity to the lake and take out the rowboat, canoe, two kayaks, two SUP boards, or two-person paddleboat that are provided! There are also a ton of water noodles, water rafts, sand toys, and lifejackets for babies to adults. If fishing is up your alley, this is a private lake, so it is not overfished like some of the larger public lakes. Fish from the rowboat or dock and try your luck at catching blue gill, large and smallmouth bass, or walleye. Plus, several bait shops are less than five minutes away that sell fishing accessories and licenses. Aside from the endless lake activities, this property offers a wonderful outdoor firepit with chairs, firepit blankets in the house, and s'more sticks right by the water's edge and a picnic table. The wraparound deck also offers additional table and chairs to watch the sunset as you sit and relax among the pines.

There is no need to worry about heading into town each day when the gang builds up an appetite, as the gas grill features all of the tools you could need and extra gas tanks are in the garage in case you run out. And, the fully equipped kitchen will come in handy for more formal recipes with high-quality dishes, pots, pans, utensils, mugs, and wine glasses. There is also a large electric griddle for pancakes and sandwiches, crockpots, blenders, a toaster, a coffee pot, a microwave, a dishwasher, and pizza pans. With tongue and groove cedar throughout the home, Porch in the Pines wraps you in the warm ambiance of the Northwoods. Because of its openness, being together, catching up, and enjoying each other's company is easy and comfortable whether preparing a meal, watching the big game, or snacking at the dining room table. Let the good times spill through the oversized sliding patio doors onto that huge wrap-around porch, and you'll have plenty of space to accommodate everyone's favorite ways to relax!

When you want to venture out a bit, there are several public boat launches on the nearby Chain of 28 Lakes, and several marinas that will rent you wave runners, speed boats, etc. There's horseback riding, go-karting, mini-golfing, nice gift shops, excellent restaurants, movie theaters and grocery stores, bait shops, golf courses, bars, and shops that will rent you bikes for the miles of paved bike and hike trails stretching across Vilas County. Winery tours, farmer's markets, and even a few casinos are less than an hour away. This home is also about 30 miles off the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, so consider a fun-filled day trip where you can hike Bond Falls or take a scenic drive through the Porcupine Mountains as it winds along the shores of Lake Superior. You'll encounter lots of quaint little towns along the way, each with something unique to share.
