Our family had a wonderful stay at Deer Springs Retreat! The neighbored was very nice with a quick walk to the water and the house had a nice layout and was well stocked. My kids loved playing air hockey and board games available. Overall the house was very clean, but could use some deeper cleaning particularly dusting the furniture well and under furniture. We would definitely recommend this place and will consider coming back!

Port Angeles was a cute town with good options to eat! Also a fairly convenient location to travel to the different spots of Olympic National Park.

our family of 7 adults enjoyed this nice home for a few nights while touring the Olympic Peninsula. Clean, pleasant neighborhood, near Port Angeles and Olympic National Park attractions on the North end of the park. Similar to other reviewers, we had trouble getting the lockbox on garage entry door to work at all, despite many years of experience with technical items in our assembled crowd (and no problems with any key boxes on any other vacation homes during our trip). Probably something the owners would want to consider revising.

We had a great staycation in this home!
We loved the beach and being close to many trails and Hurricane Ridge!
The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is it could have been more thoroughly cleaned.
There were plenty of towels and kitchen items. We had to buy salt and pepper but hopefully it will be there for the next guest.
I was surprised that there weren't any condiments in the fridge but with covid it made sense.
We will stay here again!

We were delighted to see that even in the winter time, there are many cute deer families roaming about the property. One morning we woke up to beautiful pink clouds of the sunrise casting it's pink hues over the water making the Strait waters look pink also! This was a lovely relaxing stay, and the hot tub was a nice touch as well. It's a short walk to the ocean and the community is surrounded with beautiful snow capped mountain views of the Olympic mountains. It was also fun to watch the cruise ships and cargo ships roll by, and on a clear day we could see the lights from the city of Victoria. We'll be back for sure!

Amazing and unforgettable. It’s in a super nice neighborhood and the house is very well equipped with all kinds of amenities. We enjoyed hiking the nearby Olympic Discovery Trail and we especially loved the secluded back yard with a mountain stream flowing through it! You feel like you’re a world away yet it’s close to everything! We can’t wait to come back again!
