What I loved most was the bidet in the master bathroom. We have bidet toilets at home and it the one thing I always dread about vacation rentals--no bidet. But hey, this place had a functional bidet, and it made my day(s)! Funny thing to start a review with maybe but when you are expecting to have to do without something that integral to your daily routine, and then discover you don't have to live without it, wow! The next best thing about this place was the well-appointed kitchen. It had just about every kitchen gadget and appliance I have and use regularly at home, so that was a super plus. I enjoy cooking when I have the right tools and this place had all the right tools! I wasn't surprised by the beautiful location--that's why we chose this in the first place, but it did not disappoint. What a wonderful place to take relaxing leisurely walks. Level, easy to navigate trails galore! Last but not least, Sea Ranch had a 3-court dedicated pickleball rec center! I was ready and willing to give up my favorite pasttime for a few days of solitude and quite walks along well-maintained paths gazing at the ocean. But I didn't have to give up anything. I went to play one morning during one of the advertised open play periods and was warmly welcomed by the "locals". Got my pickleball fix along with everything else. I would rent Ocean Star again in a minute, and most likely will!
