Chelan Resort Suites Vacation Rentals

We stayed in Chelan at the Chelan Resort Suites. They were close to the lake and restaurants. Easy parking in the garage and dropping off in front. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The condo was large enough and perfect for our family getaway.

If you’re looking for a place just to sleep while you’re out and about, this was conveniently located. We appreciated the back patio eating space that was shaded in the evening. The BBQ needs some attention- plenty of propane but unable to get anything other than a very low flame. It worked, but it took a very long time. Only 4 drinking glasses, and no wine glasses. For those that care about the coffee equipment, the coffee maker is a regular drip coffee machine. There were ample filters provided. Plenty of plates, pots and pans, knives and utensils. We appreciated the dedicated parking spot in the garage. Be aware that if you have a larger sized vehicle getting in and out of the parking spot is very tight. We were able to find street parking for our second vehicle close by. We would definitely return to this location- but perhaps a different unit with a kitchen ready to handle the stated group size.

We were initially concerned by some of the reviews complaining about lack of maintenance and bugs in the property and whatnot. When we got there, however, we got a very pleasant surprise. The unit was super clean and looked well maintained. There are a few blemishes, but nothing to complain about. We were there for the lake and the unit was more than satisfactory. Our code to enter the garage worked and so did the unit entry code. Also, seeing how crowded the parking was for the hotel next door made me appreciate the gated, underground, assigned parking. The park is probably a 2 minute walk from the property, then another minute or 2 and you're in the water. We didn't have to deal with the crazy public paid parking either. We had a slight issue where our initial code to enter the unit stopped working, but I called the phone number provided at the building for assistance and they responded immediately and assisted me with getting a working code. If this happens to you, there should be a phone number posted next to the elevator on the first floor. Make sure to note it down when you get to the property. We had a beautiful view of the lake from the unit. We got there around 11pm, so I couldn't wait until the following morning to see what it was like and I wasn't disappointed. There is a view of the lake from the living room and the master bedroom. While we did wade in the lake water for about an hour, it was still too cold even in the 90 degree weather. Our daughter preferred the building's heated, indoor pool, which is where we ended up spending most of our time. The night before we left, my wife and I sat in the balcony for a while and enjoyed the view one last time. We stargazed, observed the light reflections on the lake, and watched cars next door looking for parking, all the while drinking our canned boba drinks. :) This was truly one of our best experiences and, as my wife said, "This is one for the books."
