We have stayed in this neighborhood before, and really liked the fact that this home was set off from the others, offering more privacy and perhaps peace to neighbors if our dog barked when we weren't there. Aside from very dirty windows that don't open, it was clean enough with a few exceptions.
But the big problem here is that roughly half the wood shutters are not properly hooked to the house. We had high winds and for days the shutters blew violently back and forth, banging into the side of the house 24 hours a day. Not an easy sleep, for sure, and at first we thought someone was breaking in. When and if they fix the shutters, I would recommend this home. It had plenty of cooking equipment, everything worked well, we could park close to the home for loading and unloading, and I like the floor plan of the Bungalows of Seagrove homes.
Another negative in my book is that guests are communicating through Vacasa, not directly with the home owner. There was no departure information provided, which caused a little confusion on the last day. When I contacted Vacasa, they didn't seem to know much about the specific home and seemed rude and uncaring. I absolutely will not rent through Vacasa again.
