The location was amazing. Close to everything, but quiet and tucked away.

This was our fifth stay at the Dunes of Seagrove and Unit C305 was by far our favorite! The furnishings and decor were wonderful! We loved the attractiveness and comfort we found there. As for the complex itself ~ their pools can’t be beat and the easy access to the beach is a HUGE plus!

Where is Santa Rosa Beach, FL?

Santa Rosa Beach is positioned on Florida's warm and beautiful Emerald Coast, approximately halfway between Destin and Panama City Beach. As part of the beautiful South Walton region, Santa Rosa Beach is one of 16 unique beach communities, including Seaside, Mossy Head, Grayton Beach, and Glendale. Plan an extended trip and see them all!

Day Trips from Santa Rosa Beach

For the perfect day trip, simply take a drive along Highway 30-A to visit the charming surrounding communities. Seaside is an idyllic resort town offering the Ruskin Artists Colony with quaint boutiques, galleries, and fine dining. Seascape is a retreat for fitness buffs with a world-class golf course, bicycling trails, eight tennis courts, and five swimming pools. Grayton Beach is hippie-chic with a laid-back culture, wooden beach bungalows, and untamed sand dunes and beaches.

Take a quick jaunt to the sandy paradise of Destin, and head out in a fishing vessel to try ocean fishing. If you're visiting the resort town of Miramar Beach, take a wine tour with your group or check out the cute gift and specialty shops. For family-friendly activities, Panama City Beach is the place to be - Pier Park has rides for the kids, shopping, and tasty food.

You'll be dreaming of sandcastles, kites, and blue skies in your Santa Rosa Beach vacation rental. The city is surrounded by beaches, each unlike the other! Visit Grayton Beach State Park, which offers nearly 2,000 acres of hiking and bicycling trails. Swim, fish, or launch your boat in the sea, then head to the Western Lake and marsh for a quiet canoe or kayak paddle.

Deer Lake State Park offers a rare coastal dune lake, ideal for nature lovers. A boardwalk across the dunes provides panoramic views of wildflowers, migratory birds, and butterflies. If you tire of sand between your toes, travel to Point Washington State Forest, which is open for hunting, mountain bicycling, and hiking on uncharted trails or around a 10-mile loop.
