The view and the privacy.

The house was beautiful. The beach was so close by, just a few minutes walk away. The setting was quiet and peaceful. However, we had a few issues upon arrival.. Wifi was not working, air conditioning on the 1st floor was not working, elevator was not working. Repairmen were able to fix the Wifi and air conditioning issues but not the elevator. One of the repairman stated that there may have been a lightening strike because many houses in that area were having the same issues. Of course, we came in the week after Hurricane Idalia so that also may have been the problem. Whatever the cause, we were unable to get the elevator repaired while we were there. That being said, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The hot tub was great, the rooms were big, and there were plenty of bathrooms. We enjoyed many great restaurants and shopping in Port St. Joe and Appalachicola, and we worked off our visits to all the great ice cream shops by walking up and down the steps, so maybe the non-working elevator wasn't such a problem afterall.

What to do near your Indian Pass vacation rental

While Indian Pass is definitely one of the Gulf Coast’s more isolated locations, it still offers plenty to do for all visitors. Of course, the beach is the main attraction, and you’ll find opportunities for shelling, fishing, crabbing, and more all along the coastline. Look out towards the water, and you may even spot dolphins leaping above the waves. Nearby, you can explore the wildlife reserves surrounding the Indian Lagoon, or visit the Cape San Blas Lighthouse for incredible bay views. There’s no shortage of fantastic places to eat either, as local eateries make the most of the abundant seafood available by serving up delicious fresh catches.
