We recently stayed at this lake house, and while the home itself was very nice and well-maintained, our experience dealing with Vacasa was extremely disappointing.
The biggest issue was the hot tub, which did not work during our entire stay. Despite reaching out to Vacasa multiple times, and even being told someone would come fix it, no one ever showed up. It was frustrating to plan around this and then never have the issue resolved.
Communication with Vacasa was also a nightmare. They use multiple apps, phone numbers, and email threads, which made everything confusing and unorganized. On top of that, the customer service agents we dealt with were rude, dismissive, and seemed unconcerned with providing any real help.
I had requested an early check-in and a late check-out (just 2 hours on either end), made 24 hours in advance, and was flatly told no on both counts with no flexibility or courtesy.
Overall, the home itself was lovely, but dealing with Vacasa completely overshadowed our experience. Unfortunately, because of their poor customer service, lack of follow-through, and dismissive communication, I would not recommend booking through Vacasa.
