This unit was spacious and super clean. Can’t wait to book another trip!!
The laketown warf facility is nice overall. There are several things you have to learn during your trip though, like the parking garage only connects on ground floor, and floors 2-6 by a walkway. There's also only 1 elevator in the garage, so you have to use the condo elevators to go to one of those floors, walk across the walkway, then use stairs or the 1 elevator in the garage to get to your vehicle.
Tons of security, problem is they all have minimum wage attitudes, and are often pretty rude. Youre supposed to wear silly paper wristbands throughout your entire beach vacation to prove you stay there. Seriously? You think I'm going to wear a wristband day and night on my beach vacation so I can come home with a nice tan line of your wristband? But, overall it was nice to have at least warm bodies throughout the facility looking things over, and cameras were everywhere.
Out unit, 712, was great overall. Large, open, plenty of room and beds, very nice balcony overlooking the beach. The dryer didn't work, and the ac unit wasnt pulling out moisture correctly, but it wasn't too bad. One note, there are no trash bags, no salt/pepper/condiments. We cooked one night and there were plenty of pots/pans/plates, but nothing else. We had to buy trash bags at Walmart which is right next door.
The absolute WORST part of this trip, that literally everyone we met complained about, was the parking garage and elevator system. You would stand in line for 15+ minutes because there are only 7 elevators spread out, and then the parking garage only has 1, but everyone has to go to floors 2-6 to get from the condo to the garage. You would wait for sometimes 5 elevators to stop that were completely full of people just trying to move between the parking garage floors and their floor. Incredibly annoying. This was the only bad experience we had here, but it was enough that if we ever come back, we will only stay on floors 2-5 to be able to avoid the elevators almost completely. It's that bad!
The warf restaurant has all you can eat seafood and crableg buffet. It was fantastic. Walmart is next door, the beach is across the street. Pineapple Willie's was great, but extremely crowded both in the bar/restaurant and the surrounding beach. The small zoo was really good, and pontoon rentals should definitely be in your plans, as it was the best part of our trip.
Beautiful pace, great sight from both the city and the beach, easy access to the beach, plenty of pools for the whole family, really enjoyed our stay in this place.
