This is our second Vacasa rental. In both instances the cleanliness was 5.0. The quality of some of the amenities was standard. A previous review mentioned mold in the basement bedroom and on the couch in the room. The couch had been removed and a dehumidifier was in the room (however, with no one in the room to empty it, it was full when we arrived. There were also no instructions on how to empty it or where the preferred place was to dispose of the water. Some places prohibit dumping water outside due to runoff). The fluorescent light above the sink in the basement bathroom needs replaced. The home has no Welcome Manual or Instruction Sheet to outline the use of such things as: Geography (location of pools, fitness center, dumpster), Operation of television, gas fireplace, heating units etc. There is only a single television in the Unit. When we arrived we could not turn on the television although it had power (we had 4 small children with us) the television remote was not being stored with the remote controls for the other devices in a basket in the living room (modem, cable box), we found it the next morning on top of the fireplace. The CO2 detector needed a battery change but do to its height it could not be reached without a ladder. Calls to Vacasa for assistance were answered promptly, however the maintenance staff only works during set business hours and is an hour away. The call for CO2 battery change made at 9:00 PM and was responded to at 1:30 PM (approx. 14 hours later) the following day. We travel extensively and are able to compare many various lodging options (Airbnb, VRBO, Home Away etc.). I would rate this as a 4.0. Most places we stay are in the 4.6-5.0 range. The pricing for Moon River was reasonable. My biggest frustration was in calling for assistance. The answering service operates only certain hours (not 24/7) and they operate in Pacific Time. Waiting time for a few AAA batteries for the CO2 detector was a bit frustrating. If there had been a stepladder in the place, I would have changed it myself. The issues were minor but frustrating. Based on the review history of this property the owners seem quick to respond to feedback and adjust to make improvements. I would be willing to stay here again in the future based on other reviews of the property.
