Very functional and nice place. Location by hot tub and at ground level was great. A 5 min walk to Home Again run or up to the Lift Plaza (this way is more uphill, but skips Chair 6 wait). Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Black diamond 1B. The shared garage was amazing and awesome to be able to leave stuff and not worry about it. The hot tub was right outside the door, which was nice after coming in from a long day of skiing. Our only complaint - and it’s really isn’t a complaint- was this was not a true ski in ski out. It was close to the lifts as a bird flies- but we are not birds and the hike with all our gear was not fun. I ended up taking our group and dropping them off and picking them up to make it easier. Whitefish Mountain had amazing staff working and all so friendly. I was shocked to see the prices in the village market were not any more than you would pay for things if you drove to town to the grocery store. We are normally CO skiers and they take you for every penny you have if you want to purchase something at the resort. The house does get very hot. The TV didn’t work and the sweet man that brought a new one to us told us the boiler room was right below us and that probably contributed to the heat. We would just crack a window though and we stayed comfortable. Overall, the stay was awesome and I would definitely stay again.
