The spaciousness-esp with dogs.

This home was a perfect get-away for our family. We enjoyed the quiet, country feel of the area and cozy home. If you have little ones or pets, there's plenty of room on the property to let them run around. The wrap-around porch was lovely! It's close to the airport with a short drive to Glacier National Park, downtown Kalispell and Whitefish. A perfect "home away from home."

We loved the unit ,everything was awesome and very comfortable. Nice view as well ,but we had to go get us another pot from the store.owner needs to add more pots and pans. Please put a cleaning sponge in the kitchen for cleaning dishes instead of a brush . Other than that it was a great place. Cleaning was perfect. We look forward to coming back. Thank you .

Located in the Flathead Valley, Kalispell – Salish for “flat land above the lakes" – lies 15 miles south of the mountain town, Whitefish and 25 miles north of Flathead Lake and its quaint lakefront communities like Somers, gorgeous Lakeside, and quiet Rollins. Kalispell is also a prime jumping off point for adventures in Glacier National Park, beginning at the park’s West Glacier entrance 25 miles northeast.

Things to do in Kalispell, MT

Surrounded by the Flathead National Forest, Kalispell boasts myriad options for exploring outdoors. Just five miles west of downtown, Lone Pine State Park offers hiking and mountain biking trails, horseback riding, and snowshoeing during the winter. Pause at the top of the Ernest and Hazel White Memorial Trail any time of the year for breathtaking, panoramic views of the Flathead Valley framed by the Swan Range and the soaring peaks of Glacier National Park on the horizon.

History buffs will find their fill of Old West charm in historic downtown Kalispell. Pick up a downtown walking tour map along Main Street to learn about the area’s turn-of-the-nineteenth-century roots while strolling past hundred-year-old buildings currently housing sports bars, western boutiques, and delicious restaurants. Just east of downtown, the Conrad Mansion Museum, a home originally built in 1895 and turned into a museum in 1974, is also a worthwhile stop for a fascinating look at how the town’s founders lived.
