The home was wonderful—beautifully decorated and thoughtfully designed. The layout worked perfectly for our family of eight: our four boys stayed upstairs, we were on the main floor, and our two girls had the downstairs to themselves. It gave everyone space to relax and enjoy the trip. The location to the beach couldn’t be much better—just a short walk and you’re there. Palmilla Beach has quickly become our favorite vacation spot in Texas. We’re longtime fans of Florida’s 30A, and this was the closest experience we’ve found in Texas so far. There were a few hiccups during our stay: construction next door was a bit of a disappointment, but we recognize that’s temporary. The internet was inconsistent, and there was sand on the floors when we arrived, along with a couple of minor maintenance issues. In our opinion, these reflect more on the property management than the home itself. That said, our interaction with Vacasa was smooth and easy—they responded quickly and took care of any concerns. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. It’s a fantastic home in a perfect location for families looking for a quality beach getaway in Texas.

The master bed was comfortable and the AC was amazing. We didn’t use the kitchen but it was fully equipped! We sat out on the patio a lot. I highly recommend!
