We thought the condo was nicely decorated and nicely laid out. We had a very nice time there. Our issues were all with the maintenance of the place. The bed had a very annoying plastic cover on the entire mattress, which causes you to slip and slide in the bed, plus making crinkling noises all night whenever we'd move in the bed. Also, the kitchen was lacking any measuring cups or measuring spoons. The sliding door blinds in the bedroom would not work, so it was difficult to get them to close enough for any privacy. And, the shower curtain rod was starting to pull out from the wall. Then, they only had one roll of paper towels and only one extra roll of toilet paper, and we were going to be there for 7 days! So, we called Vacasa and it took about 3 calls over a couple of days, but finally they sent out a really good repair man named Andrew. Andrew fixed all the house issues and replaced the sliding door blind, all in about 2 hours. Thank you, Andrew. After another call and speaking to a Vacasa manager, we were able to get more toilet paper and paper towels and the measuring cups & spoons. The manager said that they normally only supply one extra roll of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels, which is the one on the dispenser - no extra roll. So, be aware that you'll need to take your own toilet paper and extra paper towels if you plan to stay more than a couple of days. Last issue we had was the floors. They were Extremely dirty and got our socks and shoe soles black on the bottoms. This was from day one, not due to our usage of the place. They need to have those floors cleaned and mopped after each client leaves. Just sweeping them isn't enough. Then, you need to be aware that the condo is NOT air conditioned. So, if you plan to stay during warmer weather, realize that you'll need to use the provided fan and that it's going to be a bit humid. But, honestly, it's right on the ocean and it never gets really hot and there's always a breeze. So, it shouldn't be a problem for most people. Bottom line? It's a nice place and you'll have a really good time in the condo and on the resort. You just need to check things out really well when you arrive and start calling Vacasa (if needed) right away so they can respond while you're still there. I expect we will go back and stay there again.
The vacation house was very nice, the view was great from the balcony. Everything was comfortable and felt very good.
