Super cute accommodations in the perfect location!
PB Airbnb Group LLC S. | Jun 2022
Really cozy house just as pictured. Comfortable beds, new kitchen appliances and plenty of space for cooking and entertaining. A well thought out design and even included a nice collection of vinyl records. Nice added touch providing an outdoor shower to wash the sand off. Truly a gem. I will be coming back again!

You might not believe us when we say that San Diego County is California’s best-kept vacation secret. Sure, it’s home to San Diego, the Golden State’s second most-populous city. But ask any local: San Diego County has way more to offer than Comic-Con, beaches, and theme parks.

Where to book a house or condo rental in San Diego County

Choosing between San Diego County vacation rentals can be tough. We recommend picking accommodations convenient for your next adventure. Trying your hand at surfing? Stick closer to the beach by booking a Vacasa vacation home in Oceanside, Encinitas, La Jolla, or Carlsbad. Looking for great hiking? Stay in eastern San Diego, or book in an inland city like Vista. Want to do it all? With an extensive highway system, San Diego County’s best attractions are easily accessible, so it’s all right if what you’re after isn’t in your backyard.

Family activities in San Diego County

San Diego County vacation homes are popular with families of all ages and passions. Make fond memories with kids at destinations like LEGOLAND California and the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, or keep it old school with a day at Belmont Park. If you’re entertaining a crowd, break out the peanuts and crackerjacks at a San Diego Padres game or stroll Carlsbad’s famous flower fields. History buffs won’t want to miss a tour of the USS Midway Museum, see the staggering Goat Canyon Trestle, or drop by the allegedly-haunted Hotel Del Coronado. And the outdoorsy among you won’t be disappointed, either: with options as varied as deep-sea tuna fishing out of Point Loma to otherworldly hiking in Anza-Borrego State Park, it’s not hard to find something to please any traveler to San Diego County.

Beaches near our San Diego County vacation rentals and condos

We firmly believe that life’s better at the beach. And you can test our conviction at a variety of Vacasa San Diego County vacation rentals. Pick a condo or home near Oceanside Beach to experience classic California beach town culture, or book in Carlsbad to enjoy rugged and protected Terramar Beach. Closer to San Diego, La Jolla vacation rentals are a short jump to some of the county’s best surf spots—learn the basics at La Jolla Shores, or test your skills at Windansea. (Just don’t forget to pack the sunscreen.)
