Recent The North Fork guest reviews

Nice layout and pool. The staff were very nice and helpful when I called about an issue with the pool heater and they fixed it. There were plenty of spices dishes and pot and pans for cooking. Plenty of the essentials, garbage bags & cleaners. Love the separate ac's through the house. There is a nice back yard with the pool and a fire pit with seating. BBQ and good size table with chairs. We had a nice stay and visit with our grandchildren.

Where is The North Fork?

Our North Fork vacation rentals rest on a 30 mile-long peninsula on the eastern end of Long Island. With New York City located about 90 minutes away, these homes are perfect for a day trip into the city. However, if you’d prefer to stay close by, you’ll find no shortage of activities.

Things to do near The North Fork

The area is known for its vineyards—you’ll find dozens offering tours, tastings, and events. Spend an afternoon sipping wines from the region, and admiring the idyllic scenery of the vineyards. Be sure to grab a bottle (or two) to enjoy back at your North Fork vacation home. Bicycling is another popular pastime in the area. The terrain is flat and easy to navigate, and you’ll find a number of bike tour companies to choose from—some tours are even curated around visiting those local wineries!

Fishing, kayaking, and other water activities abound, and many local companies offer equipment rentals. Whale and seal watching excursions are available as well, or you can charter a boat for your own adventure on the water. A wide array of farm tours and farmers’ markets offer a picturesque—and delicious—way to explore. In the evenings, you can visit one of the locally-owned restaurants for some fresh seafood and sunset views onto the ocean.
