very well stocked modern unit. Easy parking on street and lot. Lots of restaurants and bars to walk to. Easy walk to Browns stadium.

Wow, this was the best designed rented apartment/condo I have ever seen. I want the designer's information because it was a 10/10! I love global travel and I could tell the owners do too through the home design. My favorite design was the back of the front door ... the metallic gold was beautiful. The condo's location was superb ... walking distance from many amazing restaurants and bars. It's only a 15 minute walk from the Browns Stadium, which is why my dad and I came. It was clean and had everything my dad and I needed such as paper towels, snacks, and bottled water. The directions were clear to get into the building and apartment. I loved the steam shower ... was very nice to use for relaxation and after a cold day at the Browns game. The ceilings were very tall with gigantic windows and the attention to detail was immaculate. My dad loved the automatic curtain feature in the main bedroom and the comfortable king sized bed. The towels were thick and soft. If we ever come back to Cleveland, I will definitely stay here and any other apartment or condo the owners have in the world! Definitely book this place! You won't be disappointed!

Plan your Cleveland getaway

Cleveland brings a Lake Erie city break into focus with music history at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, market browsing in Ohio City, museum days in University Circle, and shoreline downtime at Edgewater Beach. Cleveland, OH vacation rentals give families, couples, groups, and culture-focused travelers a practical home base for connecting downtown attractions, neighborhood dining, sports venues, and lakefront plans.

As you compare homes, think about whether you want to stay near downtown, close to Ohio City restaurants, or within easier reach of University Circle and lakefront parks. Each home is unique, so review listing details for parking, kitchens, pet policies, WiFi, laundry, building access, and other amenities before you book.

Things to do in Cleveland

Looking for things to do in Cleveland, Ohio? Start with the city’s lakefront music and museum anchors, then build your trip around Ohio City food stops, University Circle culture, family attractions, and Lake Erie time without leaving the city.

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is Cleveland’s signature waterfront museum, tracing rock history through artist artifacts, immersive exhibits, performances, and interactive spaces. It fits naturally into a North Coast Harbor outing, especially if you want to pair it with lakefront views or another nearby attraction.

Best for:

Cleveland Museum of Art

The Cleveland Museum of Art is a University Circle anchor with a collection spanning 6,000 years and permanent galleries that visitors can explore without a general-admission charge. Plan it as either a focused museum stop or the centerpiece of a fuller University Circle day.

Best for:

West Side Market

West Side Market is Cleveland’s oldest and largest public market, set inside a historic market hall in Ohio City. It works well as a landmark stop and an informal tasting plan, with fresh-food, bakery, specialty, and prepared-food vendors in one walkable place.

Best for:

Cleveland Metroparks Zoo

Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is a wooded urban zoo with expansive wildlife habitats and enough to shape a full family outing. It’s a useful choice for multigenerational groups or travelers building one kid-focused day into a trip centered on museums, markets, and sports.

Best for:

Edgewater Beach

Edgewater Beach gives Cleveland visitors an in-city Lake Erie reset, with shoreline walking, picnicking, swimming access, volleyball, kayaking access, and skyline views from the water’s edge. It works well between museum plans and neighborhood dining, and the westernmost portion of the beach is the designated dog-friendly section.

Where to eat in Cleveland

Cleveland dining is easiest to plan by neighborhood. Ohio City is anchored by West Side Market and supports craft breweries, brewpubs, restaurants, and casual bar food, while Tremont adds a historic neighborhood setting with chef-driven dining, neighborhood bars, and an active arts scene.

Little Italy is a walkable district for Italian restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and long-running family food traditions. AsiaTown offers a compact dining plan around Cantonese dim sum, Vietnamese pho, Korean barbecue, Sichuan hot pot, Asian groceries, and dessert stops.

Slyman’s Restaurant

Slyman’s Restaurant is a long-running St. Clair deli known for towering corned beef sandwiches, one of Cleveland’s most recognizable local food traditions. It works best as a breakfast or lunch stop for travelers looking for a classic Cleveland sandwich rather than a polished dinner plan.

Cordelia

Cordelia is an East 4th Street restaurant that brings seasonal Midwestern ingredients and heritage-rooted recipes into a contemporary downtown setting. It can be a good fit for travelers planning one destination dinner near Cleveland’s central entertainment and dining core.

Cleveland local tips

Day trips from Cleveland

Cleveland makes a practical base for regional outings when you want a different pace from museums, neighborhoods, sports venues, and the lakefront. Plan these as separate half-day or full-day trips, and check current operating details before you go.

Cuyahoga Valley National Park

Cuyahoga Valley National Park sits between Cleveland and Akron, with forested valleys, the Cuyahoga River, and the historic Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail. Treat it as a nature-focused outing rather than a quick downtown add-on, especially if you want time for trails, river scenery, and a slower outdoor day.

Cedar Point

Cedar Point in Sandusky is a Lake Erie amusement park with thrill rides, family attractions, live entertainment, and a beach. It is best planned as a full-day trip for coaster fans and families who want a major attraction outside the city.

Pro Football Hall of Fame

The Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton preserves professional football history through artifacts, stories, and interactive exhibits centered on the game’s legends. It works well for sports-focused groups who want a dedicated football experience beyond attending a live game in Cleveland.

James A. Garfield National Historic Site

James A. Garfield National Historic Site in Mentor preserves President Garfield’s home, front-porch campaign story, and family legacy. Plan it as a quieter history outing when you want a presidential site rather than another large museum or amusement park.
