Recent Grants Pass guest reviews

This is a well-built house, lovely and comfortable furnishings; tastefully decorated, beautifully stocked kitchen--you could cook anything! The bathroom/laundry room was nice, though the shower a bit wimpy. Towels were wonderful--I want some! Again, well-stocked with nice selection of little necessities you might have forgotten. One bedroom with doubled-bed bunkbed and the other room with queen bed. Big shared closet. Nice deck. Lots of places to plug in phones.

I don’t have a bad thing to say! The property is beautiful and right on the river, the yard is stunning with a hot tub, pool, firepit, and tons of outdoor seating. The house was super clean, the bonus room upstairs was awesome, and the kitchen was equipped with everything you could imagine needing. We had a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful holiday stay with our dogs. The large fenced yard was beautiful overlooking the river. Barbara was super responsive and took good care of us.

Oregon's self-declared whitewater capital, it pairs Class I through Class IV rapids with an Applegate Valley wine trail, a historic downtown bursting with local art and independent businesses, jet boat canyon excursions, and access to the Oregon Caves National Monument.

What you'll love about Grants Pass

The Wild and Scenic Rogue River is Grants Pass's defining feature—it flows through town and drives a water recreation culture that encompasses whitewater rafting, jet boating through Hellgate Canyon, salmon and steelhead fishing, kayaking, and riverside hiking.

The Applegate Valley Wine Trail's boutique vineyards and the Grants Pass Growers Market round out a strong local food and drink scene. Downtown's self-guided public art walk, the historic Rogue Theatre, WPA-era murals in the post office, and The Glass Forge's glassblowing gallery give the city a creative energy that rewards slower exploration.

Rogue River wild, downtown charming, Oregon genuine

Grants Pass rewards travelers who show up without an agenda and let the river set the pace. The jetboat excursion, a morning at the farmers market, an afternoon on the Applegate Wine Trail—this is a southern Oregon trip that comes together effortlessly and stays with you longer than you expect.
