The unit and property are beautiful. I would only say that the mentions of the food or drinks available at the pool or access to the neighboring pool and food or drinks option is not correct.

Sapphire is an outstanding beachfront condo complex that gives tropical resort vibes. Complex amenities are amazing. Loved spending time at the pool and the beach. Condo was spacious with comfy beds and furniture. View of the gulf was spectacular. The condo is fully furnished with all the kitchen utensils you will need. There are also beach blankets, sand toys and boogie boards. We bought beach chairs and left them for future guests to use. Whirlpool tub was lovely but tub water wasn’t warm enough to really enjoy. A/C shut down in the middle of the night nearly every night of our 7 day stay, requiring maintenance to report to the unit in the AM, flip a few switches and get it running again. The owner even sent a local HVAC company to the unit twice to repair the issue. Appreciate the responsiveness but having 2 A/C repair men in your condo from 7-9 PM was definitely an inconvenience. I hope they are able to get the problem fixed so future visitors do not experience the same problem.

We just got back from a week stay at Sapphire Condos in room 408. The condo was beautiful. Very spacious and gorgeous view. Nicely decorated, comfortable beds, nice tv’s (one in every room), and it was very clean. It also came very well equipped. We knew approximately 20 other families that were staying at Sapphire the same time that we did so I know for a fact 408 came better equipped than most. They had everything! If you want to cook, I have never stayed in a condo that has so much to offer. There is a traditional coffee maker AND a Keurig. Every pot and pan you could possibly need. Tons of kitchen accessories (even an immersion blender). The rest of the condo had a lot to offer as well. Two coolers (one large yeti), beach chairs, and a huge plus-a beach wagon to lug all your stuff! Beach towels (which I understand from friends not every unit had these-I do wish they’d have mentioned that on the listing though). Very nice washer and dryer. Plenty of bath towels, hand towels and washcloths. The facilities of Sapphire are great-gorgeous pool, quick elevators, and they keep the lobby, pool and common areas IMMACULATE. The staff were all wonderful, with the exception of Ashley at the front desk. She was the only rude person we encountered our entire stay, and it really stood out because everyone else was SO nice and helpful. She was there multiple days too, so it wasn’t just catching her on an off day, she’s unkind and has no business working in the hospitality industry. The biggest drawback of this place is the check in and check out times. A 4pm check in with a 10 am checkout is EGREGIOUS. Especially when we consider there’s only a small airport for South Padre so you’re very limited on flight times. It says you can request a late check out, which we did and were denied. No one else we know that stayed there were able to get a later check out either. There are a lot of rules at Sapphire and they’re strict. To me it was fine, it’s pretty simple-follow the rules and you won’t have a problem. But definitely be aware of them when you’re booking because they are strictly enforced. Vacasa was pretty easy to work with overall. I did have one call where there was definitely a language barrier but everyone was very nice and they’re easy to get in contact with and very prompt with response. If I were the owners I’d want more of what they have to offer on the listing because this unit is stacked! I’d recommend 408 and Sapphire to family and friends and I’d definitely be willing to rent from Vacasa again. The only thing that would hold me back from using them again would be the check in and check out times.
