Our stay at Solare Garden Villa was overall really great! I gave it 5 stars because the property, the owner, and the management team were all wonderful to work with—our only major issue wasn’t related to them at all. We arrived Friday evening for a weekend trip centered around the Kemps Krawl 5K. Our group was five adults, no kids this time. Check-in was quick and easy, and the unit was clean and ready for us. One small note: the directions to the villa within the complex could have been clearer—we spent a bit of time hauling bags around trying to find the right stairwell. Also, it’s a third-floor walk-up, so keep that in mind if mobility is a concern. The unexpected hiccup came early Saturday morning when the power went out around 5 a.m. We contacted Vacasa, checked the breakers, and realized the entire complex was out. Unfortunately, the outage lasted over 10 hours, and our unit didn’t get power back until after 3 p.m. Huge shoutout to JD from Vacasa, who stayed in touch and did his best to get us updates throughout the day. Because of the outage, we had to scrap our beach picnic breakfast and ended up eating out more than planned, since most of the food we brought didn’t survive the lack of refrigeration. It was a bummer, but we made the best of it and explored more of the island than we originally planned—which turned out to be a silver lining! The location was perfect for our 5K—just a short walk away—and the beach access and pools were great (once the power was back). The unit did get warm quickly without A/C, but once everything was restored, it was very comfortable. We’d definitely stay here again, though probably not with our youngest kids due to the stairs. It was a great fit for a group of runners on a short weekend getaway. Hopefully next time, we’ll get to enjoy the full experience—power included!

The view walking into the condo was breathtaking. You could see the ocean from every window. The condo was very clean. Staff were friendly. The beds were very comfortable. The AC worked great and I would recommend bringing thick socks as the floors are very cold. 10 out of 10 would stay here again!

Master bathroom sink clogged, they immediately sent someone to fix it.
