Pros:
-Location! It’s a short 2-block (small blocks) walk to the beach. In less than 5 mins, you can have your feet in the sand. Target is about 3 blocks away for affordable groceries. Bus stop right across the street if you don’t plan to rent a car.
-the bed is SO comfortable.
-kitchen has everything you need, and even comes with paper towels, dish soap, trash bags, etc.
-smart TVs in both rooms
-the pool area is so cute and comfy, the loungers have cushions, it wasn’t ever crowded.
Cons:
-lots of street noise. I travel with a noise machine, so it wasn’t a huge deal, but if you need silence to sleep, you’ll struggle.
-the living room furniture is horribly uncomfortable. I don’t mind shabby furniture, but you can feel the steel frame under the couch when you sit on it. And the bar chairs aren’t comfortable either. It was bad enough that I ended up sitting on the bed for meals, to watch tv, etc because the living room furniture just wasn’t usable. My teenage daughter was fine with it, and so we each kind of had our own space, which wasn’t a bad thing.
-the balcony is tiny and overlooking a very busy street. If you’re hoping for outdoor space, you’ll struggle can enjoy it by the pool, but not in the unit itself.
Overall, especially for the price, we really enjoyed our stay here, and would come again. I do wish they would put at least one comfortable chair in the living area though.
