House

I really enjoyed my stay at the Three Oaks Retreat. The home is charming, peaceful, and well-situated for a relaxing getaway. The outdoor hot tub and indoor jacuzzi were wonderful touches, and the property itself has a lot of character. I appreciated how comfortable and inviting the space felt overall. There were just a few things future guests might want to be aware of. The front steps were covered in leaves during my stay and, with the rainy weather, they were a little slippery. A quick sweep between guests would help make arrivals and departures feel a bit safer. I also noticed that the upstairs layout—three beds in an open room and a bathroom with sheer coverings on the glass doors—might feel a little less private for families or groups, though it was perfectly fine for me as a solo traveler. The hot tub and indoor jacuzzi were great amenities, but filling the indoor tub did use most of the hot water for a while. Not a big issue for one person, but something larger groups may want to plan around. And with the strong winds one evening, some of the outdoor furniture cushions tended to blow around, so securing them a bit more might be helpful. Check-in was smooth overall, but I did arrive early and wasn’t able to check in before the listed time. The home was ready, so it would have been nice to be able to settle in a little sooner, but I understand policies vary depending on coordination with the homeowner and cleaning schedule. Despite these small things, I genuinely had a wonderful stay. The property is beautiful, the atmosphere is serene, and it made for a great retreat. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to others looking for a peaceful escape in the area.
