Great location and amenities

We originally stayed in this unit in March 2024 and enjoyed the location so close to the pool, but the furnishings and cleanliness were not great. Once we saw the unit had been updated, we booked the same one again in March 2026. This stay was much better. The new furnishings are all great and the place felt way cleaner. We did not see any critters of any kind in the unit, the pull out sofa was quite comfortable, the AC was very quiet, the new knives were very sharp and everything else was good. The only complaints for the unit would be the lack of a blanket/comforter for the pull out sofa, the lack of any cleaning supplies such as a multi-surface cleaner for daily cleaning and no boogie boards for the kids. Other than that, the unit was great and we had a wonderful time, despite the awful rainy weather from the Kona low that passed through. We did purchase and additional beach chair to make a set of 4 and 2 boogie boards that we left at the unit. We hope they will remain there for future guests to enjoy. The only thing that would stop us from booking this same unit again is that our kids are getting older and having a second bedroom would be ideal.

Great location, beautiful property, enjoyed the view (whales! We stayed before Kona storm rolled in). Easy walking distance to many other amenities. We’ve stayed a few times at Maui Kamaole and will likely be back.
