Okay so number one you can see the place on my tiktok @difababey. This place was so beautiful. Believe the pictures and all the hype. We were a group of 3. There was more than enough space. The staff was very nice. They take amazing care of the grounds. The inside of the home is well stocked with more than what you need. You can use the in home laundry room. They give you plenty of towels and shampoo and conditioner. The AC is amazing. Don't worry about that partial thing. It's an AC unit in EVERY ROOM and an overhead fan. You will not be hot at all. It is a gated community and the gate man was always so kind. You are on top of a VERRRYY STEEP HILL. You can walk it but you will be in so much pain. Uber to and from. The most an uber will costs is 5 dollars. They are still doing construction in the compound so even if we got a car we couldn't park it. The wifi service in the house can be a little weak. They do have Netflix already logged in for you to enjoy. You are far enough from the noise but close enough to uber and enjoy. The place was extremely clean and safe. Really enjoyed our stay. Please enjoy their beautiful pool and the sunsets from there. Thank you for allowing us to stay. To La Vista because you're on a hill and there is construction my only suggestion would be to get someone who can be a little more attentive to guests and to leave a welcome gift basket with water and fruit or whatever. Overall we had a great time!

The house itself is beautiful. It is located right outside of the main part of town, so it is a tough walk if you are carrying items. Easy location for driving to multiple areas. The inside and outside of the house is beautiful. My only complaint was some of the linens and towels had stains (although they were clean and I washed them again myself) and there were some splatters on the walls that I easily wiped off. Comfortable beds and beautiful bathrooms. We did not use the casita, but it was cute! The outside area was nice for early morning coffee. There is construction in the neighborhood, but we did not find it bothersome and we could easily walk to grocery stores nearby. Overall, we are thankful we were put in a beautiful house after the owners of the previously booked home cancelled on us last minute. Vacasa was fast and the house was beautiful. You do need to buy some kitchen items like salt and pepper, but there is all the utensils you need. We were thankful for the laundry room and noted there were pool items in there for kids, if needed. Overall, beautiful home and great stay! You won’t regret booking here.

The apartment was very clean upon arrival. The bathrooms have an updated finish. The place feels secure for three girls in their late twenties with the security presence at the front. We absolutely loved the pool after being at the beach all day. The view was priceless and we were a close walk to all the shops, restaurants, and beach :) would stay here again. Muchas gracias vacasa!

Where is Tamarindo?

Perched on the crescent edge of Tamarindo Bay in the northwestern province of Guanacaste, the town of Tamarindo is home to a modest year-round population of a few hundred residents. The town and its surrounding beaches are easily reached from Liberia Airport 42 miles northeast, or in a few hours by car from the capital city of San José 160 miles east.

Things to do in Tamarindo

Whether you've come to surf or savor the pura vida of Costa Rica, you'll do it all within a few steps of our Tamarindo vacation rentals.

Beloved among experienced surfers for its lengthy waves, Tamarindo's Playa Grande is a wonderful place for beginners as well. Take a surf lesson and learn to navigate the soft winds and consistent breaks, or spend your days sailing, kayaking, sportfishing, and horseback riding on the sand. Tamarindo is also in the midst of Las Baulas National Marine Park, a seasonal nesting site for leatherback sea turtles between October and February. Simply register for a guided tour at the park headquarters and you'll be treated to a nighttime glimpse of one of nature's most fragile and fascinating processes.

One of the benefits of Tamarindo's commercial development is its variety of world-class cuisine and fun-filled nightlife. Grab a fresh, healthy breakfast at Sprout or La Bodega, feast on delicious lunches at Surf Shack Burgers & Wings, and sample the freshest of seafood at Bamboo Sushi Club. Seasons by Shlomy is also a fantastic stop for Mediterranean fusion dishes that employ the region's incredible fresh fish and produce.

Day trips from Tamarindo

Perhaps the greatest draw of Tamarindo is its central position on Costa Rica's northwestern coast - a natural playground for beach-goers, surfers, and leisurely day-trippers.

Make your first stop at Playa Avellana 11 miles south, a "Little Hawaii" of white sand, azure waters, and towering offshore breaks. Snack on fish tacos and ceviche among the palms at Lola's, and spend the rest of the afternoon visiting Playa Negra, Playa Langosta, and other famous surf spots in the south.

Just 14 miles north of Tamarindo, you'll find the quiet shores and tide pools of Flamingo Beach, an ideal spot to fish offshore for tuna, marlin, swordfish, and snapper. The neighboring Conchal Beach is named for the millions of crushed shells that compose its sand, creating one of the most unique seascapes in Costa Rica. And if you continue past the Papagayo Peninsula to Santa Rosa National Park, you'll find unrivaled surf conditions near Ollie's Point and Witch Rock.

Ease, convenience, and adventure come together in our Tamarindo vacation rentals - begin planning your escape to Costa Rica today.
