Relax in comfort with great spaces inside and out. Walk out to lake, private dock or walk over to state park for hikes surrounded by hemlocks and lush forest. Being able to bring our good dog was a huge plus for our family!

We loved the cabin! The space is beautiful and accommodated everyone well. The family got to unplug and actually enjoy each other. Amazing memories with amazing people.

The location is perfect, within walking distance to the hiking trails and beach. The view from the dock is magnificent. The house is great for a family vacation, with the large covered deck- perfect for family meals.

This was perfect for our visit! The cabin is on the quiet side of the lake at the entrance to the state park with its own dock. The large covered patio with the hot tub, picnic table and large brick grill/fireplace is the highlight. The interior of the cabin is a bit dated, but worked perfectly for what we needed.

Pros: This house is across a 2-lane road from the Lake. It has a large covered patio with a built-in grill and hot tub that fits 5 adults. The picnic table would be great to use in the summer. The kitchen has tons of pots and pans, linens were ample, the washer/dryer and dishwasher worked well, and the living/dining rooms had enough seating for us 6 adults. The fireplace is wonderful. The flow between the kitchen/living/dining rooms was great and we enjoyed our stay. Cons: Although advertised as 5 BR, the house is technically 4 BR and a loft with two single daybeds. Most of the beds are old and springy. We referred to this house as the elf house because the ceilings and doorframes (except the living room) were about 6 feet high. The front door is only about 5 feet high, which is odd. My friends and I are tall, and we were stooping around. The 1/2 bath in the loft area is tiny, and that door is probably around 4 feet high; needless to say we didn't use it. Additionally, the house is built sunken in, so you need to walk down 3-4 steps and then up 3-4 steps to get into the house. Tall people and people concerned about using stairs to get in and out of the house should look elsewhere. The house is 8 miles from Wisp ski resort. Also, we got about 2-3 inches of snow, and the cars without aWD were unable to get up the driveway (even though it is not too steep). This is the second time renting with Coldwell Banker; they are very friendly, picking up/dropping off keys is a breeze, they are quick to answer any questions, and there were no significant issues with the houses both times. I would highly recommend working with them!

I only wish there would have been other reviews for this house, because I was a nervous wreck not having any recommendations to go on. I will admit the curb appeal is not the greatest, which had me nervous, but it was wonderful inside. The bathrooms were clean and modern. The bedrooms were clean and perfect. The only thing I would have wanted differently would be, the loft area was great, but would be nice if it was closed off,and just made to be a room. Due to the noise from people below it made it hard for those sleeping up there. Or a game table would be nice to have up there instead of beds, but we made it work. The one bathroom off the living room was beautiful and gave people some privacy. Kitchen was clean and worked perfect for all 12 of us. The patio with the hot tub was great and very relaxing. We went in February and so not much to do, but they had plenty of games and movies. Totally would love to come back in the summer months for sure.
